City have Adebayor, Dzeko, Balotelli, Jo, Santa Cruz and Bellamy. Do they really need 7 strikers\forwards? :sergio:
Jo is off to CSKA Moscow. Santa Cruz is off to Blackburn probably. Bellamy has been told that he is surplus to requirements and that the club is open to offers. Adebayor is unwanted by Mancini and has been strongly linked with moves to either Real Madrid and Marseille. A new executive (John Williams)at Man City was appointed two weeks ago and his first task is to unload Tevez, Adebayor, Boateng, Bellamy, Bridge, Jo, Santa Cruz, Given and two others for around £75m to facilitate the purchase of two signings - a striker and an attacking midfielder - whilst balancing the books in readiness for FFPR regulations.

The Tevez fee is thought to be £42m payable in 2 instalments.

It appears that they are looking to replace Tevez with either Aguero or Gomez.

With every passing day this deal look more and more unlikely to me.

First, we have Aguero whose still undecided where to go although he said he prefers a stay in Spain or a move to England - not saying much and not mentioning Juve. Second, money seems to be a problem for an eventual deal between Atletico and Juve, but for Real Madrid or Man. City the figure Atletico are asking for shouldn't be a problem. So these two facts lead me to the conclusion that perhaps Aguero won't be the star players in attack for us the upcoming season.

Bellamy will leave too, they do need another forward.

If Agüero had really 'made up his mind' and 'it wasn't about money' then we'll really have half a chance, but I expect we are third choice.

What about your inside source saying they wouldnt bid lol..Did they mean the best bid for Aguero to ATM or the best contract offer? If he is saying that the money doesnt matter and it is a move so he can become a better player I cannot see why he would not choose us..Basically guarenteed starting place.
