If Aguero can't decide what the better club is between Juve and Inter...all he needs to do is look at the trophy room.

More legends have been made in this club than Inter will ever have. Zanetti isn't a name that people will associate world class with...however, Del Piero/Buffon/Nedved will not be forgotten so easily. And they are current legends.

Kun needs to realize he could be the next.

Dont let the hate towards inter cloud your judgement..this was uproar in argentina when maradona didnt pick him for world cup last year

very few players have the spirit he has..although i despise inter with a passion i have the utmost respect for Zanetti

he is a horse on the field and a natural born leader, hes the type of player every coach would absolutely love to have in their team

Well, Inter's story with argies is still better than ours. And they still have some in Samuel, Zanetti, Cambiasso... but we could always show Aguero what's the team with more Ballon D'Ors (in the world, not just against Inter) and all the DP&Juve love story to inspire him.

:)

I'm talking long term, not just next year. We have a tradition, they don't.
A successful tradition doesn't assure a club success for the long term future. Its what we have in place now that will tell anyone whether we'll be winning anything in a few years time. Old trophies don't win new trophies (plus its not like Inter haven't won trophies). What's far more important than a full trophy cabinet is that Inter have a better squad, more money and CL football. What are these inter-Aguero links anyway? Aren't they close to Pastore or Sanchez?

So was Gattuso. He isnt world class but the exact same qualities as zanetti.

A tradition of seventh place finishes and succumbing to humiliating results against relegation candidates!!and the hiring of unexperienced and unambitious italian coaches

and a new tradition of loan with option to buy

and a great tradition of once very proud fans who have become overwhelmingly pessimistic about the future of this team!!!

it is hard to swallow but those who dont see the light that we kinda suck hard right now are in for a long spell of disappointment after disappointment

convincing a player like Aguero to join us is going to be a extremely difficult task!!let alone convincing Atletico to sell him for 5-10 million lower than his release clause

So were Torricelli,Di Livio,Padovano,Pessotto,Iuliano,Tudor,Tachinardi,Ferrara,Conte,Zalayeta etc...

Its not just bout having world class players with tremendous skill and vision especially if you want to be succesful in Serie A

Juve of old had tremendous firepower upfront with the likes of Zizou,Nedved,Del Piero,Trez,Camo,Mutu,Zlatan,Jugovic,Vieri,Inzaghi etc..
but the backbone of our team and ultimately our success was having bulldogs playing in the cmf and defence positions

We were known for our grit, for our fighting spirit, for our pride...we dont have any of that anymore..we let shit teams fight back from two goals down,we fall apart after conceding a goal and we played like pussies infront of our home fans

Gattuso and Zanetti arent world class skillwise, but in terms of leadership, grit, ambition, fighting spirit, understanding the luxury, privilege, honour and duty of donning jerseys of teams that strive to win trophies every year then they are more than world class!!!

Those qualities are essential for a team to win in a year where the team plays at least 38 games doemstically and another few games on the continental front

Imo the reason we did so well after 2006 was bcuz Del Piero,Nedved,Camo,Trez,Buffon,C Zanetti,Legro poured their hearts out on the pitch

When i see players like martinez, grosso, motta, barzagli, aquilani, pepe etc.. play for us a part of me dies inside cuz they fail time and time again to push themselves hard enough to suceed in a team that USED to only demand the utmost effort in achieveing results on a consistent basis

looking back at the last 20 yrs..when have we ever finished 7th,let alone done so twice in a row in a league that is a shadow of what it once was in the 90s and early 2000s

Qualifying for the champions league used to be a given..NOW IT IS A DREAM!!!

Different times. Different tactical eras. I think that nowadays you have to be a bit more intelligent in midfield considering how the pace of the game has increased and the approach is more possession-based. Having a bunch of destroyers out there is not the way to go, especially when the wide creative players are taking hold of the game.

We were known for our grit, for our fighting spirit, for our pride...we dont have any of that anymore..we let shit teams fight back from two goals down,we fall apart after conceding a goal and we played like pussies infront of our home fans
We certainly need more fighting spirit and balls, though. No doubt. That will always be needed in the game.

I'm not worried about inter...they are still looking for a coach and now is the perfect time to settle this kun deal once and for all.

You speak as if we sign deals really fast, you can bet your house that Inter can assign a new coach and start getting linked with Agüero and all the other palyers we are linked with where we are still on the same broken record, agreed a deal, agent denies, agreed a deal with the player, the club denies, rinse and repeat.
