It won't change. clubs are well aware of how little performances in an end of season international tournament like the World Cup are actually indicative of a player's ability to turn up for a club.

Plenty of top level players flop in these tournaments, mediocre ones impress. Pretty sure the value of SMS is not as lowered, and the value of someone like Golovin not as raised by this World Cup as fans might think.

No one is going to pay 100mil for SMS but that is not because of Serbia being knocked out. He simply isn't worth it, Lotito is just playing hard ball with us.

So few clubs (that can afford him) are in need of Milinkovic-Savic. Milinkovic-Savic haven't been a recipient of World Cup hype, that could inflate/upheld his asking price. So at the moment I don't see anyone realistically looking into 100+ million for him. As I've stated numerous tiems without an insane World Cup Lotito wouldn't have a lot of leverage in negotiations, Lotito have already bragged about rejecting a huge bid last summer and SMS is worth at least (insert insane number).

So will Lotito's pride or the dealmaker win? He'll look liek an idiot (he already does) if he can't get +100 million, but he'll be an idiot if he doesn't sell for ~80 million.

If we are legitimately interested, there's a good deal to be made here. Milinkovic-Savic have one great season under his belt and he is a player that needs the correct system to be of CL-caliber - yep only the desperate would overpay for him.

I like Mandzukic but he isnt the quality we need upfront - He is good as a workhorse but I wouldnt want him to be our focal point in attack. He could be a great bench player though..

Dude is a monster. The most underrated striker around. He might look obsolete against minnows, but he always shows up when it matters.

I'd rather Manbro than Miss Piggy in CL.

Rabiot is good but I believe SMS is much better and will be amazing for us so unless SMS costs over 100M I`d take him over Rabiot..

i hate him because of lotito.i think he worth around 50m.and i prefer golovin over him.at least golovin is more dynamic whish we don't have in our squad.

If you're basing this on WC performances, I assume you never watched CSKA play, then remember that Golovin only excelled vs. Saudi Arabia and was decent vs. Egypt and total trash vs. Uruguay.

SMS played against much superior opposition in a deeper role than he's accustomed to.

Mandzukic is very good and I quite rate him but he isnt the player that can shoot from everywhere or dribble like Martial - He has other attributes which makes him very useful. I would like him to be a part of our team as he can certainly contribute, I just dont want him to be our focal point in attack as I rather see us get someone who can make a difference by his own.
As for Higuain - The guy can score for fun in Serie A but in CL the guy is finished IMO

1. Higgy had a much improved CL run.
2. There are also many things Mandzu can do which Martial can't.
3. Looks like Martial is still very expensive
4. Martial still has a lot to prove to be considered an upgrade over Manbro and Higgy.

Only at the right price (50-) I'd take him.
