Scored another one today. We can't judge him on that because he's a defender but I want Ciro#2.
The bastard cost us 2 points.

Seriously though, that was the first time I have watched him properly.

He was played at RB and looked distinctly uncomfortable playing against pace and was skinned 2 or 3 times in the first half. He looks strong in the air, has OK pace and is competent on the ball.

Judging by tonight he is not good enough for Juve, but he may be much better at CB. Certainly not worth a heap of cash.

If players would only be given one match to shine, football would have been dead a long time ago. You cannot possibly pass judgement on a player you've only seen once, playing out of position.

Notice I said 'judging by tonight' and also commented that he was played out of position.

I wasn't writing him off, just saying that on that showing he didn't look good enough.

Then you went on to state "certainly not worth a heap of cash," which doesn't seem like a plausible opinion of someone who's only seen the player once... out of position.

I'll stand by that part.

I don't think Juve should be breaking the bank to get this guy. He may be worth having, but not at any price and he will cost a lot if Chelsea are interested.

You're sort of side-stepping the issue here and contradicting yourself. You stated that you're basing your opinion on seeing the player once, acknowledging that it's not right to do such a thing, then going on to say that you don't think he's worth much money at all after watching this one match.
