And apparently Genoa and Sampdoria interested in him. The latter may throw Obiang, Zaza and one other guy into the deal, if the rumor is to be believed. Forget if it's Poli or another youth we are after. Anyway, just sharing. It's on TJ.
Giovinco's agent Pasqualin "Let me clarify this once and for all: Juventus & Conte have fully confirmed that Seba will stay at Juventus."

Guess they'll be giving him another shot.

Wonder how big a part the CL rules play in Giovinco being kept.

If De Ceglie and Marrone leave this summer, as looks probable, Juve would be looking short of players who'd come through the youth system to fill that quota in the squad.

You can always call up some hopeless kid from the primavera for CL matches.

Will most likely be a spot for them on the bench.

Do we actually have any homegrown players in the primavera?

you need to hand in a list of 25 players eglible to play in the CL games.

There are certain rules, it must contain x home grown players, etc

But cant the quote be filled with primavera ?

They don't actually need to be properly homegrown.

They just have to have been trained by Juve for a few years.

Yeah, it can be filled with kids, but you are then reducing the number of potentially useful players at your disposal.

I'm certainly not suggesting that that would have been in any way decisive in a decision to keep Giovinco - just wonder if it might have been a factor.

Can't imagine he sells many shirts.

Hasn't exactly come off as being hugely popular with the fans - either the ones here or the ones at the stadium.

I wonder if there is a list of who amount of sold jersey. Anyway, since Gio was sitting in front of the bus during the celebrations I surprisingly saw a lot of Gio jerseys.

Isn't the rule if you can't fill the spot it has to stay empty? I'm sure having 23-24 instead of 25 wouldn't hurt.

I don't think there's a minimum. It's just that you either have those home town players or the spots you could use on them remain empty. There is no need to have any of them but the CL squad will be smaller.
