I for one really like the Sebastian is coming back to Turin, he was born a Juventus fan and in his early Primavera years was both dominant and seemingly Del Piero's perfect replacement. They were similar in stature, play style and position, even pace (young Del Piero) and of course free kick ability. And though his talent seemed limitless when he was younger, and I was a huge fan and was incredibly excited at the prospect of having a guy like Giovinco for the future, my opinion has changed. Yes, Juventus' previous managers didn't give him much time or space to play, but all the shit he said about Juventus. How he disrespected the club, I understand he was frustrated but he was supposedly a Juventino to the core, and I don't see how a Juventino would ever go against Juventus. So that cancels out the "he's a Juventino" point, cause clearly he isn't anymore, I hope he still is but honestly I don't believe he is.
And people who talk about his talents now, he is a good player don't get me wrong, but he's nowhere near Alex's quality, seriously I can't believe that is even being debated. Have you seen Giovinco play? Yeah he has some moments of brilliance, but c'mon really? Comparing him to a guy who got a standing ovation at the Bernabeu, the guy who broke into the starting lineup of a star-studded Juventus who were among the best, if not the best in Europe. Actually, I don't even feel the need to debate on the comparison, it's just retarded to even bring it up. And frankly, and I'm not even joking I'd play Vucinic over Giovinco any day.
And finally the "15-11" argument, well I'd like to remind you that he did that playing for Parma... When you play for Juventus, especially Conte's Juventus stats are invaluable. His mentality embodies the word "team". Vucinic didn't have anywhere near the 15-11 gio had? Well if you watched Juventus games you'd see that he won us countless games, and even when he didn't score or get an assist he played well, most of the time. I want to see Giovinco run as much as the current Juve forwards run, and I want to see how many goals Giovinco scores when he isn't the focal point of the offense.
Anyways, I'm honestly happy he's back and gets a chance to prove himself. But you can't really say he's all that, because unlike foreign players we have evidence of him when he actually played for Juve. And that can't be ignored, you can pick all his highlights from his seasons at Parma, but if you do that you should also bring up how he played as a Juve player. And I remember it pretty well, he fell over countless times, he couldn't get passed opponents, didn't have much vision and didn't really play within the team. I hope he proves me wrong, but until he does he doesn't deserve to wear no. 10 and he doesn't deserve all this praise he's getting. A player that plays well for Parma can't be expected to do the same in a Juventus jersey.

I don't think so. Ale is the smarter and mature, and certainly more classier player of the two. But when it comes to skill, Messi is better. I'm not saying the difference is huge, but Messi is surely more skillful.
Are you comparing Alex now with Messi now? Cause Alex at 23 was pure class.
