No, at least not legally i think.

They need to deal with us first, and sell their half to us or buy our half. After that, if they buy him outright or win the auction, then they can sell to inter.

What im not sure is if inter can give them money to win the auction.

Is even possible that they are purposedly delaying the deal for it to go to blind auction and then let inter do the trick in the shadows. I think inter would be pleased to fuk us over.

So parma are demanding we pay them Giovinco's "True Value" which perhaps means paying them atleast 2-3 times more than what they've paid us !

We pretty much shot ourselves in the foot with this deal, I remember saying when we first sold his half that this is a totally un-necessary and stupid move in the first place and it made no sence atleast to me.

And i don't buy into this whole we sold his half so that Parma can use him and if he did well we still gonna have an option to buy him back bullshet arguement

you either trust your players or you don't, Marotta and our guys should make up their minds. If they really trust in their judgment and think a young player is worth it then use him in the team or atleast loan him out for a season and get him back again. If you don't then just sell him and move on...

I don't really care if giovinco comes back or not, the thing that i really hate about Marotta specifically (and I've said it many times before) that he seems to not being able to make up his minds about players (we either buy or sell). He keeps on getting or letting go of players on co-ownership deals or loans with an option to buy.

Its crazy the number of deals that Marotta keeps making with all those co-ownership and loans. Will eventually hurt the club on the long run.....

Nope, it's in the rules of the game. You can't push players off the ball and get away with it, it's called a tactical foul and Marchisio does it three or four times a season to get a yellow card (well, not pushing players, but tripping them up so they can't counter attack).

Exactly. 100% true. But apart from the fact that Giovinco disappears from view (can hide himself between ones legs ) and the defender is ... well lets say he isn't a full back and he isn't a very good CB either. If his positioning is what you would expect from players we are hoping Giovinco to give us the cutting edge against = forget it.

PS: Let's not forget either that the said defender had 50+ more minutes in his legs...

This picture says it all really.
To play on that role you either need strength or speed, as technique must be a given and not something to show off as your best ability. Best examples imho are Aguero (7 cm taller) and Messi (5cm taller) - the first one would probably out-wrestle this tall mofo on the pic and by the time he catches the second, Messi would be celebrating in the stands - so he would have to do a foul from behind which is an absolutely different situation. Here even the yellow card was a tad too harsh. I know most of you would say that Aguero and Messi are amongst the greatest players the world currently has and its hard to get anything similar - I am just trying to illustrate two different type of SS/L/RWFs.
He isn't good enough for a top team, he isn't worth 20+m and the fact that Inter are the only other major side interested in buying him shows that btw, as we know that their judgement of talent is historically the worst in Italy.

There was no tackle to endanger the safety of the opponent. He was beaten by Giovinco and forced to push him in a way to bring him down to stop the counter. He wasn't the last man, he was just beaten for pace. Yellow card. The fact that you admitted you were too harsh with the red card says it all...and the fact you are using a picture as a base for an argument says the rest.
