are you comparing del piero with gio? really??

del piero was a talent on messi level

gio is now way near as talented, hes 25 ff
i would never compare ale's skill to giovinco. Clearly del piero is in a class of his own. I was only comparing the situation of their transfers. My mistake if it came across or sounded like i was comparing their skill

It would be ridiculously stupid not to pay 10M for him. Considering Parma already gave us 3.5M for his half, that means we'd basically be paying out a total of 6.5M for a player who scored 15 goals and had 11/12 assists last year.

I would imagine that multiple teams value him at near 20M, he can fit into multiple tactical schemes, and he's Juventino - whether people like it or not.

Easily worth giving a shot.

I think that he is in no necessity to come here just to be sold to other team because:
He is happy at parma and is kinda dumb to accept a juve deal when you know you will not be there.
If he is returning, he must be demanding at the very least a chance to perform, otherwise is just better to not come at all. Is not worth it taking in consideration that in parma he has first team footie and can get for sure a better contracy than his actual one. No need to return to juve just to be a sacrificial lamb for the cavanis.

I like the idea of Jewvinco being a lamb and us sacrificing him on the altar in order to summon the almighty warrior Cavani.
I have the feeling he would under-perform heavily with us next season. I don't see him full of running and he can't hold the ball either. In the slightest opportunity of us making more money out of Giovinco we must act immediately. I see this one going to a blind auction. :(

while there's still interest in the boy, let's just sell him or use him in some deal. sorry, I know he's done very well for parma and he's very talented, but I just don't think it'll work out in Juve. People could go on and on saying we had a bad coach or bad system then etc etc but the truth is he never really shone for us

I don't like this guy Giovinco. He has the look and attitude that would fit right in with a $hitty team like Inter. Inter can have him, he won't make any difference, they will still suck.

P.S. I have never liked him or believed in his quality on the pitch too!!

Dont know really,

And sally, he never shone because he was almost never used. Just look at his sttaistics back then. The few times he was used was in “panic” momnents when teh coaches ran out of ideas and wanted to try a crazy bet. But he almost always delivered and looked promising. One prime example of panic moment was when he was used in the chelsea game and he played well btw.
