Ziuliani said that Gio is unlikely to stay at Juve even if they buy him. I'm pretty sure now that we are buying him to use him as a makeweight. I dont understand why, unless he's the only guy who can get us Cavani and Conte wants that to happen. He'd be decent depth IMO.

NICE, I never have had any doubt we can get him back if we want him, only doubt been if we truly do, despite Conte's nice words about him this time last year (saying its too unfortunate he cant take him back etc), I wasnt really sure Marrotta would bother.

Well, there's no deals period, not yet. You can pretty much guarantee that the installments are going to be sizable, though - and the rumors have hinted that it'll be roughly half now, and half next season. Udinese did qualify for CL, and can't give up 2/3 best players without getting some good cash to replace them now.

when baggio was sold and del piero was brought in as his replacement, werent the fans really mad? I was born that year so im not quite sure but isnt that somewhat the same situation we have this year? Ale leaving, with giovinco being his "potential" replacement. Yes obviously the situation has its differences and gio has said some disrespectful things, but i feel like im the only one who wants to see how he would do in this team. Vucinic - Van Persie - Giovinco, seems like a pretty good attacking line-up if you ask me. I'll probably get alot of hate for this post but I still feel like he could offer alot, and sending him to inter would be a mistake IMO

del piero was a talent on messi level

gio is now way near as talented, hes 25 ff

Why ull get hate? He is good. Its worth a shot to try him. I dont see anything bad with it.

its stupied to pay 10m + for half of him, if we dont have a deal to exchange him for cavani or jovetic. he is not worth 20m+. He failed before and will fail again

It would be ridiculously stupid not to pay 10M for him. Considering Parma already gave us 3.5M for his half, that means we'd basically be paying out a total of 6.5M for a player who scored 15 goals and had 11/12 assists last year.

I would imagine that multiple teams value him at near 20M, he can fit into multiple tactical schemes, and he's Juventino - whether people like it or not.

Easily worth giving a shot.
