Well, now that our idol and captain is retiring...this fella will have more chance to prove his worth in his dearly SS role. The cards are getting settled for a Gio return.

So if he comes back, he better performs this time, as he will have more weight on his shoulders than anyone in the last 15 years and will be judged mercilessly.

If he comes back, that is...

Giovinco: "I didn't know that Del Piero is finished at Juventus. Noone called me.."
i hope this is a joke from you, because if this is true, this guy needs to be kicked in the balls. Nice timing to be a jerk.

If it goes to ablind auction....how much money u think parma will offload for him?.

How much money u think is worth investing or is enough to beat parma?

With DP news, it seems we will need this fellow.

With all the other clubs around the chances of Amauri going their for free would be very unlikely, and come December/Jan when Parma are in the shit and need someone to score goals for them staying in the top league is alot more appealing than a couple of mil

Going to be a tricky negotiation, either way. If it goes to auction, they could bid 10M and they'd still only have paid 13M for him. If he keeps up this form, a total price of 15M would be within reason, so if they have any prospective buyers who agree with that valuation (or more), Parma could get reasonably aggressive, looking to turn a little profit.

I wonder how much they value their relationship with Juventus? I don't think it will go to the blind auction, likely youth and cash.

Parma can't afford to make an offer that big.

If they make an offer of more than about 5-6m, it means another team is financing the move and will immediately buy him from Parma.

That's basically what I was thinking, Red. They get a bank loan, or another club to assist the financing (or both?), and then flip him immediately (with an agreement for a little bonus from the purchasing club for playing the game)... something like that. They'd need some help for sure, but I think it's possible...

But not probable. The relationship between the clubs seems pretty good, and I think Seba would like to come back if Juventus openly pursues him. Going to need to pump his tires a little more, probably.

Parma cannot just flip him to another club, Juventus have a huge say in this. Parma cannot sell his half and he moves to that other team. Juventus would have to give consent and I doubt they'll do that.

I mean that Parma buy the half Juve currently own, then sell him.

That would be if Parma won an auction.
