Marotta on Giovinco: "We believe he can become an important player. He plays for Italy, so he's good enough for Juve..."

Bring on Cronios and his ItalJuve rant.
Stating the obvious, but I would to see how Marrotta said this, must been tough for him to utter the last bit, heh. Considering one of the first things he did was was sell half the rights of an "important player" for 3m, beyond retarded.

Dont blame him for Gio leaving, even if I would liked if he was inclined to have the foresight to keep him instead, Gio leaving was something that was more or less set in motion and decided pre Marrotta, inevitable.

cool...too bad we bought elia and we gave gio away, now he "can become an important player" ....
It's never late, it's very important that they are realizing their mistakes. I think Conte has good influence in the Juve's management.

Overpaying for players is not the issue, it's the actual value of a player that has accomplished nothing of note in his career.

I say we offer €7.5m in the Co-own, if we get beaten then we got a fair price, nobody's a loser.

If he continues like this.... his price will sky rocket at the end of the season.

But i have a question. If we assume that he delivers this season..... and his price tag inflates.... who says how much is he valued? Juventus or Parma? and if for example.... he becomes more valuable....we need to pay more money for him to buy the other half?.

Or his price was set in stone the moment we did the co-owning with parma?

We should not trust Marotta in these co-ownership deals.

Oh? He'd fit in well in the current team, which is fighting for the scudetto.

Krasic Vidal Pirlo Marchisio Giovinco
Vucinic
