That's still highly debatle. Giovinco didn't really do anything well, but neither did Montolivo, Rossi, Pazzini, Matri or Gilardino.

Then you havent been watching the Azzurri, diss him for Viola you can, but he was one of the few positives in WC, and has played consistently well under Prandelli, except for this last game, which I didnt see (so I dont know if he was just poor, or people are criticising him simply because he's name is Montolivo like you are).

He wasn't that bad but he took some bad decisions, like a back heel pass to the defense that almost resulted in a goal. Also, he was always trying too much to shoot from distance(~30m) and waisted several balls because of that. He has a good shot but he was trying to hard, he should have passed the ball on most occasions.

I can't be bothered to watch the Azzurri, and he does suck for Fiorentina. In any case, if he does play well for Italy, then it just goes to show he is a good NT player, and a turd @ club level @ la Podolski. Few Positives in the WC? That lasted all of 3 games OS

Montolivo was horrible in the world cup, one of the worst of Azzurri.. He made Pirlo look like he is Zidane.
