I hope he comes back. as Bianconero81 said he would piss over all our LB position we have. After Nedved he was the best had had since then. Maybe there is something else there we don't know because it doesn't really make sense why he isn't with us.
What about his brother is he loaned?

giovinco can play as a left winger/left wing forward/trequartista/seconda punta...never a LB.

I would certainly take Giovinco back, without a doubt.

That doesn't mean that he shouldn't shut up and stop responding to stupid interviewers.
Exactly my thoughts! Lol they point me as a hater now, fanboys are fanboys, they never change, you can't criticize a player, otherwise you are a hater :D

Why do most of you assume that we have already sold 50% of giovinco? We haven't. Or rather, Parma haven't yet taken up their option to sign him for a set fee. Which they cannot do without giovinco's acceptance. The fact that we included in the loan deal an option to sell ONLY 50%, in itself suggests that we had no desire last summer, to completely get rid of him.

Its best to take the interviews with a pinch of salt. Quotes are often taken very intentionally out of context. Creating/reporting drama and tension are core aims of most media instituions...

He has had a decent season, i would be happy to see him given a chance at Juve this summer. As for his apparent quote of 'i need to be a first pick'...i suspect that was mistranslated, and he actually said something mor along the lines of 'i need to be at a club where i have the chance of winning a starting place week in, week out'.
I'm pretty sure that's wrong. The possibility of Parma buying 50% of his contract was made last season, which means both Juve & Gio have already agreed to it. Basically, it's now just up to Parma to go ahead or not.
Of course, if we really don't want to lose him, we'd strike a new deal with Parma where they would agree to not exercise their option.

We'll see what happens, I guess. But the fact that he really wouldn't mind staying at Parma (often a relegation battler) does make me question his ambitions.

My question is this...did you say the same thing in Melo's thread after his interview? Let me go check...I'd hate to label anyone as a hypocrite here, but Melo's was much worse than Gio's.

Then people should stop complaining about the players that are treated poorly and focus on their energies on the people doing the mistreating.
I agree, though, I'm not the one complaining.

In fact I think that in order for this club to turn things around, we need to make couple of strategic changes from the top. Because I'm of the opinion that even if we strike lucky with a new fullback or some other transfer we will still fail in the long run because the way the club is run, the way it shows it's ambitions, the way we cling to an unsuccessful projects, the way we don't admit our mistakes and because of that cannot learn from them, the way we prefer to get on our knees and suck some FIGC deck, and the way our owners care about us certainly doesn't paint a positive picture.

All in all this transfer market doesn't look positive no matter how many newspapers speculate how we are linked with top players, or how many times our top management say that we will be getting a new champion (because i'm quite sure that the definition between what I think a champion is and what they think is very different) will not bring me enthusiasm. Only news about strategic changes in the way our club is run will be met with enthusiasm and from me.

Sad times for a Juve fan.

we should get him backa s a bench player.

he's pretty useless if you want to build up play due to no physique

but heck, when you are one goal up, his speed and ballcontroll will be quiite dangerous

Lets just get some boxers in the team, olympic ones. We have a couple of atlhelets now, might as well add some muscle to the team then, who needs skill anyways?

This.

He had an exceptional attitude while being treated like shit here.... Now , he has all the rights to complain and show his unconfort... but sadly he is choosing the wrong approach.

If people cannot see this, is because they are turning in fanboys.

And i consider myself a Giovinco fan since the ranieri days.

Skilled wingers that actually get past a player without getting shoulderd off the ball would do.

Just watch the torso from all the decent leftmidfielders out there, all are muscular.

giovinco has nothing

Giovinco won't be a bench/fringe player anyway, he said that 57 times already.

Not that anyone should expect to start for Juventus, unless there is an injury crisis. You play well, you stay in the team. We should have two players for each position minimum.
