Well put, Edgar...he was the best we had, and brought something to the team which has been sorely lacking since his departure, which is a never say die attitude, the ferocity of a wolverine protecting her cubs and an unquenchable determination to succeed.
Its is obvious, to anyone who understood Nedved, and understands football, that we have not replaced his leadership contribution to the team.
At times, yes he was poor, a shadow of his former great self. But we flogged him round the track far more than was reasonable. And he still ALWAYS gave his heart.
Looking at the team now. Nedved seems like a Warrior compared to schoolchildren, who can't wait for home time...
