he did not play as good as we were used too, but he was still more of a driving force than others ... AND he did defend without doing stupid tackles...

don't get me wrong. i really like giovinco, but i can see the reason behind playing nedved ... after all it was his last season anyways...

No doubt about that. He was astonishingly poor last season, so actually he probably should have took a lesser role prior to last season, as sad as it may sound.

You make it sound like Nedved is the coach...he played when Ranieri wanted him to and played at his best and gave more effort then anyone else on the pitch. Sure he wasnt great like we are used to seeing but when he was told to take a leeser role he decided to retire because Juve didnt have a spot for him anymore and he did with pure class only saying good things about Juve the whole time and saying he couldnt play for another club. So say he wasnt as good as he should but the reason he played is because we have no depth to sit him last season.

Well put, Edgar...he was the best we had, and brought something to the team which has been sorely lacking since his departure, which is a never say die attitude, the ferocity of a wolverine protecting her cubs and an unquenchable determination to succeed.

Its is obvious, to anyone who understood Nedved, and understands football, that we have not replaced his leadership contribution to the team.

At times, yes he was poor, a shadow of his former great self. But we flogged him round the track far more than was reasonable. And he still ALWAYS gave his heart.

Looking at the team now. Nedved seems like a Warrior compared to schoolchildren, who can't wait for home time...

First idea is to send him to Lazio, which would see us getting Kolarov in return. Molinaro could also be included in this deal.

They always have at least 6 pages devoted to Juve, most of the times even more. They have regular & decent interviews. And they are pretty objective when it comes to match analyses & player ratings.


Their transfer rumours are usually complete crap, I know. But I like that as well, as I am a big fan of good comedy.

Oh yeah they aren't really bad in the other parts of it (which we're quite lucky as Juventus fans to have), but the stories are hilariously bad. I think most Italian media is bad at transfers really.
