If giovinco can't hold his balls to score a meaningless penalty against bate then imagine in a cl final shootout this year 9/10 times a miss is from a lack of confidence which screws with your mind and technique.
If a 28 year old cassano who is far more confident can score that penalty and bring us the cl it is worth more than anything giovinco could ever offer.
:sergio: Now that's your argument, huh?

Look, we have one of the best young talents out there and hopefully we will never have to get chose Cassano instead of him. And who cares if Cassano is better now, I'm interested in how good Giovinco can become. There is a lot of players playing better then Giovinco right now, for example Jovetic, do you want to take him instead of Giovinco too? Or Palombo who is really good at the moment, do you want him instead of Marchisio?

Cut the negativity, you are talking about Giovinco like he is a crappy player just cuz he wasn't that good these few games.

Giovinco showed what kind of a genius he is last season and throwing that away for a cry baby like Cassano is insane.

It's quite ironic really, how the press and fans complain about young players not getting chances in calcio and then when one with real potential comes along and doesn't immediately settle they want to trade him in for the older 'finished article'.

I'm not against. Like I said I'm indifferent, if giovinco can step up to the plate great. If not then I would quite happily say 'jog on'
and the penalty agruement is thin yes but I was trying to demonstrate how cassano right now is more benefical to us. I suggest you read the rest of my posts from tonight instead of piking on this alone I'm not fickle, just stating what is fact, true and more likely.
man am just amazed over this hell of argument when we have players like Trez and Amauri who performance like shit and no one wants their head like Gio.. and yea Fabiano is better than Amauri lets bring him and Rossi is way better than Del Piero and the fat Mido is better than Trez :blah: :blah: C'mon guys the season still way too long give the kid a break.. and please Jack remove this poll you are a nice Guy and we don't need a fight here!!!

seba to be a juventini 4ever,,we don't need an ugly fcking mood player

who is casa to be a juventini ?
I don't give a shit if they were born in the bloody curva. All I care about is winning, if they are local and contribute in a good way to the team, bonus. I f**king love Claudio Marchisio because he does what he needs to do every time efficiantly with 110% effort and goes that extra mile. Being a Turin native is a nice bonus, but I'd love him still the same if he was born anywhere else.

Yeah, well thank god we are winning right now and I think we can cost ourselves to give Giovinco the time to regain his form and hopefully he can play like he did last season.

And, we should give our homegrown talents more time to prove themselves cuz I don't want our team in 5 years ending up with no bandiera at all like Fiorentina or Lazio.

Since when did you dictate where I base my grounds upon my arguement?
All I care about is winning, whether it be with giovinco or a 'cry baby' so if cassano is better right now, which he is (and don't even think of denying it) then I would swap, what is wrong with that??
And if you want my opinion on marchisio, read my last post. :)

You sound like a teenager who is upset from loosing his first girl! He's not going to be our last youth product!!! Look at our bandiera's now tell me where did gigi come from? Where did nedved start his career? Sciera? Even diego will be one does it matter that he's from brazil? It's what they do that counts, marchisio will probably become one and it will be first and foremost for what he does, the fact he is homegrown is a bonus.

I think the whole bandiera argument is more redundant now than it used to be, top clubs like Juventus will always have bandieri whether they come through the system or from thousands of miles away, like Diego perhaps? Del Piero was not from the Juventus system.

I'm simply answering the question that the poll asks, I'm not picking any fights. If we were asked the question of amauri for fabiano I would answer that and give my opinion, if my opinion hurts you then it is your problem, not mine.

Was borought up in hockley, in the center of Nottingham. Now I live in mapperley about 10 mins away from the center, good old snottingham, rife with knife and gun crime:)

Wait, you are arguing against me even though I am one of the few not wanting to replace Seba with Cassano?

Luca, cool, I know Hockley fairly well, must be expensive to live there? :S

 :wallbang: amazing.

Erm I can't really remember seeing as I was only young at the time but it's a real dump of a place in hockley, bars and stuff yeah are pricey, but the people that live there are real working class.

At this point Giovinco seems to me to be another Palladino or Miccoli, a special player with some talent but just cannot find the right way to live up to that potential.
