As much as I am excited about Diego and Ciro, what they will bring to the team, I am equally, perhaps even more eager, to see Giovinco been given a proper shot at staking a claim for one of our striking berths.

Diego's position is assured. Giovinco will surely play in that spot whenever the brazilian is injured or suspended. But other than that, he must be allowed to challenge del piero for one of the two front positions. The other striker role will be fought out between trezeguet, Iaquinta and Amauri.

Having both Diego and Giovinco on the field, together with a world class finisher, and a sturdy, cultured midfield (with melo or Dago, Marchisio, Momo), our team would look amazing.

I just hope that the atomic ant is given a fair crack of the whip, because he deserves it, and could turn out to be one of the most talented players in the game, if given the right nurturing and exposure and playing for the right coach, with the right players...

I think that we should not use Dp as much as we used last season, we should use him as a joker and for very important games. last year he and Nedved played 3 games in 10 days, that was too much. So we should use Giovinco a lot more!
