I see Giovinco capable of adapting to both roles. But he has to focus on one before its late.
I hope by the end of the year CR will make up his mind for Giovinco's and DC's role in our team...

Giovinco has the ability to be Juve's greatest I'm sure of that, but the problem is how to field him. He plays best as a Trequarista, but we can't play 4-3-2-1; we will suffer in terms of defence. Also, Giovinco doesn't show all his quality as a left winger. The only possible solution is to be Del Piero's sub, which will definitely affect him badly because he really needs continuity. I don't know I'm really scared of losing Gio.

No wory's 4 GIo mate...We could play 4-3-1-2...but we need a slolid CB and RB 4 that

Buffon

? - ? - Chiellini - Molinaro

Camo - Sissoko - Marchisio

Gio

Amauri - Del Piero

I actually like that formation, right back could be Miguel/De Silvestri
centre back could be Zapata/Santacroce and I still would like to put De Ceglie as a starter rather than Molinaro, but with Ranieri we know who he will put on that Left back position..
Diego in place of Camo might work also, but it is risky..

Giovinco has an awful lot of stamina. Does the writer of that article know how much stamina it takes to run with the ball the way Giovinco does?
Giovinco has said it himself. He doesn't have the stamina to both attack and defend which Nedved had.

Yes, Dribbles require a lot of energy, but u get a lot of the energy back when resting in between attacks. They are bursts of energy. And that is Gio's game.

But when you track back and defend, you are always running and have no time to recharge, this is what I felt at least. By the time you get the ball back, you feel your touches are heavier.
Thats why you need alot of stamina to do both attack and defend, something Gio can't sustain regularly.

they have so much love for each other its great!

marchisio is what we need a meid that can shoot! and score!

giovinco for me will play his best in either a free roaming spot behind the strikers or even as a left winger not a mid but an attacking winger.
