Yeah, me too. I just hope he lives up to the hype though. :nervous:
i dont see why he cant to be honest. i mean with empoli he carried the team for more than half the season. imagine him playing along side cammo, sissoko, and zanneti and having to feed trez amauri, del piero, palladino ( if he stays) and iquinta with goal scoring balls. i have high hopes for giovinco and i see him making instant impact with us but yeah have yr fingers crossed for that and wish for the best:scudetto: :bigscarf: im soooooooooooo looking forward to next season just for giovinco's sake.

i hope Giovinco plays olympics
I hope not. We need him for the CL qualifiers.
News today is that we might keep Palladino as emergency backup for the CL qualifiers, because Giovinco is at the olympics then. Palladino will be sold afterwards. :D

I don't know actualy. Haven't followed AZ this season, the only thing I read was 'AZ lost again' :D
Next to that I prefer PSV over any club in the Netherlands.
Oh well, Pelle played his part in AZ's 'misfortunes', couldn't hit a ball right all season.

can't we keep both palla and giovinco? </3

giovinco is one player that juventus should NOT let go at all costs whatsoever next season. and im glad that the board seem to agree too. the boy's worth salivating over when you watch him play. damn. cant wait to see him do great things in juve

I;ve seen the kid only in numerous vid clips....

this kid is impressive, I don't wanna hype too much about his future, but he will be very helpful in adding the spark we desperately need in our game. We cant rely on Camo and DP forever.

I like how he has something different to offer on every next match he plays. The through passes, dribblings, assists, Zidane-like vision are always there, but every match he plays is remembered by something he does, something different than what he was doing in the previous matches.
In this tournament he first singlehandedly wins them a match, scoring a long distance free kick goal during the process. Then he makes a chip to Osvaldo vs the USA and yesterday we saw that amazing dummy to fool two opponents.

He's the kind of player that brings lots of money to the team. He's adored by everyone. Millions of kids who start watching football will fall in love with him. with the way he plays his football. The childish smile, the body of a child and still a wizard with the ball. Gio gaining millions of new fans to Juve is a sure bet. He'll be their idol.

It's very similar to what the young Ale Del Piero was doing in the past.
I'm not comparing their talent, their qulities or their potential, i don't want to be misunderstood by the Del Piero fans.
I'm just saying that Gio and Del Piero are both charismatic enough and attractive for the public. They both win the hearts of the football fans, especially the younger fans.
In this way Giovinco is Del Piero's successor in Juve.

The only bad thing i would say about him and its not even that bad is that he should take more shots on himself rather than trying to set up a team mate all the time. eg. the last moment of the game were he was one on one but opted to slide the ball across to Pelle and when earlier in the game he had only one player to beat but again passed. Again this is not really a bad thing it can be seen as a positive thing also because he oviously isnt a greedy player which i admire.

Oh and by the way did anyone see when Seba squared up to a Japanese player who was like 3 times the size of him?! that was brilliant! :D he showed a lot of heart there!

yeah, he should be a bit more selfish, but I reckon his repetitive eye for a pass won't be an issue when he is passing to players who know how to finish like Trez and DP.
