I dont know if this will happend, I mean Ranieri dont want him back yet, he said that he prefers that he stays in Empoli
I read earlier on web somewhere that Almiron might be exchanged for Parma's striker, so maybe that is also why G would have more chance of coming in. We never know if Coaches really say what they really think so...
Lets hope G will come home soon

Recall Giovinco and see if he is truly ready to handle 1st team pressure. If he is then we would not need to waste 15+ million a a VDV or a Diego. instead we could buy a really WC defedner and thus not have to play with 2 DM to protect the defense.

Juve to call back Giovinco? Monday 17 December, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus are looking increasingly likely to try and bring Sebastian Giovinco back from Empoli in exchange for Sergio Almiron.

Claudio Ranieri sent talented 20-year-old Giovinco to the Stadio Castellani for a season to grow as a player and he has impressed in the Tuscan side.

However, the man who went the other way in the summer hasn’t had such a good time in his new surroundings.

Argentine midfielder Almiron is at the bottom of Juve’s midfield pecking order and has even fallen behind the unsettled Tiago Mendes.

Whispers are intensifying that Ranieri may reverse his summer switch and try to cement the early return of Giovinco.

The Azzurrini starlet has indicated that he is happy with Empoli, but he would undoubtedly welcome the call back to base.

It is believed that Almiron may be less willing to take a step backwards, despite his lack of playing time in Turin, but he may be given little option.

I'd hope so, but Ranieri had said that he doesn't want Giovinco back yet(maybe he changed his mind because of Giovinco's recent form though..). Gigli has maintained that we will need bring any players in January.

I think it just paper talk.

There are no quotes from any of our management!!

Some reporter has just to much free time and knows that Almiron isnt performing and that we lack creativity.

Nedved ?

When everbody is fit, i'd love to see this trio play together:

Camo Giovinco Nedved

I doubt Giovinco will be recalled in January though.

These three offer a lot together but this means you are dropping one of Zanetti or Nocerino or dropping one of the forwards. I prefer dropping one of the poles and keep possession. But as you said, Giovinco in January is kind of far fetched. Next year's formation then :D

Buffon
Zebina Ivanovic Chiellini Grosso
Camoranesi Nocerino Zanetti
Giovinco
Huntelaar Trezeguet

To see such excitement of a hot prospect Italian forward in Juve , it's definitely gona be 10.
I like :jvefan: # 7 for him since a lot of WC players have started using it. And I doubt that it will be :jvefan: #10 since Del Piero won't retire any time soon.
