Ciro Ferrara: «fate Giocare Giovinco»

Confer*marlo in prima squadra?

Cam*pioncini costruiti in casa.

First order of business, IMO, should be stuffing him with a lot of pasta. I don't mind him being short, lots of good players were short, but he's too skinny, he just seems so weak. He needs to gain a few pounds and seriously hit the gym. His skill in unquestionable but he needs fitness just as much. The way he is now I don't know how he can fight with Serie A defenders, he'll be on the floor all the time. He is pacey but he can't rely on that only, there are pacey defenders as well.
Yet, you said it, I'll say it again; the kid needs some pasta. :D

Come on guys , he is just a teenager , he will grow another 10 cm or more
He isn't that young, he is already 20 years old (born January 26, 1987).

volpato has been injured most of the season. He should spend another year on loan, and the management should evaluate whether he is the shit or if he is just shit

any one can give the translation for corvette's article ?
basicly it says, that Ferrara said we should let Gio play... He is at juve since he was 8 years old

I really was waiting for DD to sub him on saturday. before saturday I saw him only once in the pre season preparations... this kid has great potential. Perhaps DD should have let him play much more this season..

Ciro Ferrara: “fairies To play Giovinco” To the discovery of Sebastian Giovinco, the grown boy to bread and Juve, than saturday pome*riggio it has given to show to the Olympic stage cam*biando the face of the game and allowing to the Ju*ventus of striking Bologna. And' entered to a quarter of hour from the end and its played have been exceptional: “Now - Ciro Ferrara explains, re*sponsabile of the bianconero juvenile field - dob*biamo to make so that you play with continuity. For these pits to its place I would go in series B for one season: it will have the occasion makes boneses and to raffor*zare its value. Next to this point it must think to come down in field with continuity and enough. Confer*marlo in first square? It depends on the attaccan*ti that they will arrive”. Sebastian Giovinco is the pride of the bianconero gio*vanile field. And' arrived to the Juve when it had eight years and it has made all the procedure passan*do for the school soccer. Like he also Alexander Bettega, Andre Cuneaz and Dario Venitucci. Cam*pioncini constructed in house. And it goes given merit to the la*voro of the field of smallest, guided from the re*sponsabile Antonio Brand, true and just discoverer of talents, fundamental element of the society that heads very at the baby. An accustomed technician to lavo*rare in the shadow and to cure all in the smallest par*ticolari. To see the piccolini of the Juventus is a show and it is understood because many of they have caught up the first square: “Giovinco the memory, eccome”, says Antonio Brand: “It had eight years quan*do we took it from the Blue Star, one dilettantistica society of the Turinese one. And it, year after year, have confirmed and improved the own qualities”.

That's from Systran and it's not a good translation, but still...

1. giovinco is not 1.66 is less height, diego maradona is about 1.74

2. he is not a teenager, he is 20 years old.

3. whatever age or height he has the talent, and as ciro ferrara said he has been player with us since he was 8 years old. Is fantastic that he has arrived in the first team. If you saw the game you might have noticed the entery curva stand for him when he hit the pitch. He is ours and we have to back him.

forza seba!

We most definetly must keep him with us, I don't want him going on loans. DD should put him on in the last 15-20 minutes, like Wenger does with Walcott. I don't believe in loan experiences anymore, I think the player as soon as he's loaned out to a club like Ascoli or something immediatelly loses 50% of his motivation. If we keep him here he'll work hard as hell and will have lots of role models to look up to.

So, I wonder... we have, Palladino, Paolucci, Giovinco and Volpato... makes me wonder who will really play in Juve...
i was discussing Paolucci with an Ascoli fan the other day and he says that he needs a few years before he could even be remote to the top level.

i can't say anything about volpato as i didn't see him play enough times.

Palladino, inconsistent but he has the skills needed for us atm with the understanding with the other team members. So i guess hes closest to staying.

Giovinco, played one game and he looked good.It will be interesting to see whether he gets a spot next year o not
