People still hating on Gio and can't even pose an argument why Pepe is the better player. :howler:
cause Pepe helps the defense and a hardworker.. ''smart vs hard-work'' logic. and they choose hard-work over being smart... cause u know being smart this days is just not smart anymore :D

Well said.

They can't be compared, one suits the current team set up, the other would vie for a place with Vucinic.
Sure they can. You saw how hard Vucinic worked defensively against Lecce. He tracked all the way back to give Chiellini a hand, what makes you think Giovinco wouldn't do the same thing in Pepe's place while offering infintely more in offense than Pepe ever could.

I don't buy this "current set-up" bit anymore, sorry. For every 1 good thing Pepe does he does 1 bad, whether a hoof of a shot, bad first touch or misplaced pass. Those sort of unforced errors would be MUCH more minimal if Gio was in his place, resulting in a strong possession rate and less stress on the team losing possession. Gio would just have to work harder, but Conte can mold him to his own tactics.

I don't see the problem. :D

'tracking back' is not the issue here, its whether he is capable of being able to cope physically with defenders and still be effective as a creative FW.

somehow u guys are making him like he is playin' for the Egyptian league or somethin'... as i remember the fucker is playin' in Seria A and he is doin' just great against the same defenders whom we play against, he will face them again with us with this weak physics.. it's just different shirt u know. but he is the same person and it's the same league if u know what am sayin' :D
