I am the biggest fan of Giovinco - been following him since Primavera. The story sounds amazing - a native Turin-born/Piedmontese
who literally loves Juventus, oozes with talent and excellent dribbling skills, playing as an attacking mid/left winger...promoted to Juventus
only to be loaned out...again.
Do you blame him for the sour-grapes? All the times he has scored vs. Juve in an Empoli shirt or Parma shirt he never celebrated
except in the most recent encounter. This story sounds all to familiar, by the way, Miccoli anyone?
Having said that, Giovinco does have his cons: He's short, small, puny, tiny, microscopic...
[add as many synonyms for diminutive as you like]...jokes aside, he can easily lose his
balance, and can easily be shut out (see Juventus-Chelsea when he came on as a sub in 2009). The kid needs to go to the gym, eat alot of protein,
and gain weight. Then I'm sure he'll be much more effective.
With Parma he may be lighting up the sky, but for what? 12th position?
Bottom line- I say get over it. Just like with Miccoli. Alot of Juventini couldn't comprehend it
(btw Fabrizio had an attitude problem before even planning to loan him out). At least Giovinco didn't start bitching until Juve loaned him out, and rightfully so.
I don't blame him for being pissed off...
