CM - Marchisio - De Ceglie
Balotelli - Acquafresca - Giovinco

That was pretty much every game, it changed to 4-5-1 on occasion, I remember it well for De Ceglie playing LCM.
Remember balotelli got suspended for 2 games so it would have been giovinco as a left wide second striker and abate and the wide right option. as for the lineup you are right in saying marchisio was the cmf but i am 80% sure that crisctio started most of the games, i also remember them playing acquafresca and paloshci up front when they went behind against germany

Thank you Seba for not letting me down after all the multiple fights I took for you in this thread while people didn't believe in you :touched:

Just bring the kid back home, we're not getting a superstar like Tevez or Aguero so we might as well do everything we can to get him back by guaranteeing him a starting spot for next season. He doesn't want to risk coming back, getting benched and missing the Euro 2012.

So, who said he isn't a champ? Do you really think we'll get Aguero without CL and EL? Or do you want a +10M in wages Tevez?

Just get this boy back, he's fucking class.

Selling half of him for 3.5m was wrong, but I won't go into an argument if it was right or wrong to sell him, despite the answer being pretty clear. What was shocking is who did we get to replace him. Martinez and Lanzafame!
Yes, those two were our original LW's and when they failed, as expected, we improvised with the CM Marchisio and then with the RW Pepe, all of which have zero of Giovinco's talent. And we actually lost some 10m eur in the process.

Agree, if Delneri knew he was going to play 4-4-2 all season why would anyone bring Martinez and Lanzafame in to play that side?
