I have high hopes for Lanzafame. I just need to see him against a strong opposition and if he can keep his performances in a consistent basis.

It's pretty stupid to sign a guy like Martinez nd let Gio leave. but let's hope for the best.

Not one negative post about Seba? I'm shocked.

No one concluded that he was a defensive liability or continually had a problem staying fit.

Let alone he is only good for midget tossing

I'm shocked so many wear only the rose coloured glasses

No seriously, only laying yourself up for dissapointing if you build up high hopes for Lanzafame.
Lanzafame? You mean the player that's traveled around the world twice, didn't receive any compliments from anybody here during his trip, but since he's finally back at Juventus he's the next big talent?

Ahh, right, that Lanzafame.

Who gives a fuck about defense when we're talking about a CREATIVE MIDFIELDER.
Who will have a better career when all is said and done. Rui Barros or Seba?

I think you'll have a hard time answering that question and Rui gave Juve a couple a pretty decent years.

what did Giovinco do more than Lanzafame? both still have alot to do to convince us that they are good enough for big teams

i know Giovinco looked great in some moments like in chelsea match but he was lost in many matches too

too early to compare them and judge their abillity IMO

Yeah, seriously. Even if him being a defensive liability is really overstated.

Never mind him being our most effective attacking player whenever he played.

About Lanzafame, I agree with Osman.
I think his 4 or 5 goals late last season must have people hyper.

I was two years old when Barros played here, so I have no idea. Unlike others, I'm not going to comment on someone I haven't seen before.

But if it's about how he played defensively, I don't really care. All sorts of great midfielders don't get stuck in as they rely on their talent with the ball, and so do their managers.

This fetish for having the ability to defend is quite sickening. DM's, wingers like DC and Salihamidzic who have limited ability, I mean Jesus just start a porn site already.

Maybe that "high hopes" was pretty strong to use.
I didn't mean he'll become the next great thing, more like he will turn out to be much better than what we expect. (for me atleast)

For real, like how many defenders do you need in your starting XI.
Only keeping Wingers with ability to defend and track all the way back, sounds like to me parking the bus every time we go 1-nil up in a bit serious matches.

I was just trolling a bit. The pure positiveness of this thread was making me cry. I hate the co-ownership BS because it gives that small hope Seba will come back. I don't understand why you go through so much BS in developing a player and just shoot him aside. If this was their plan they should have sold him a long time ago

Self-brainwashing already started I see because one left and the other came, but its dead obvious that Giovinco is the better player and the better talent. As simple as that.

And B3NJi. I'm not saying Lanzafame is bad either, he is pretty decent and has some chance to make more of himself, but though he has the slick style and technique, in general, he has been a player that flatters to deceive (except 2nd half season for Parma, he stepped up). Bit like Palladino, and I remember all too well the very hopeful wishes and exaggerated stuff about him, simply because he was a Juve youth who had decent feet.

Your first post reminded me of that, of people jumping the gun waaaaaaaaaaay too soon. But yeah I somewhat understand what you mean with your latest post, though I dont necessarily share your positive take on it.

It would be a more enjoyable trolling session if the managers we employ wouldn't be set on playing negative football.

As for the rest, agreed.

I hear you Osman. Like I said we need to see more of him, in some matches that actually mean something. That's why I said what I said at the end of my first post.

The thing I like about this guy is that he makes decent decisions and brings players around him to play. A bit unpredictable, ok on the ball and little arrogant which is good for young players IMO, and I just want him to keep the same mentality against higher oppositions.
But time will tell my freind.
Btw I never compared him to Giovinco. I'm just talking about what we have right now.

i didnt say that Lanzafame is better but there are alot of things that can give you different views of players in football, and there are games that is totally closed and players would struggle. for example physical games like how merda did against barca, even messi with his technique ability didnt work out against such aggressive team. and Giovinco would be lost in this kind of games.

they would just step on his way and foul him this way so they wont get carded and keep him away from their goal.

and im not self-brainwashed because i know Giovinco did show us some good displays but the interest he got only from small clubs and that insures that he still have alot to do to really convince the big teams that he have what it takes to be in strong team. and the same goes for Lanzafame.

and i wish it will be his season with Parma and come back to Juve stronger than ever
