We're talking about Secco here.

We'll probably pay Empoli the pre-established amount(let's say 2.5m €) + a negotiable amount 4.5m €+.

:(

But its an option to buy contract, not a co-ownership. It all depends on Gio himself. If he wants to come back, then Juve would pay nothing.

Exactly, we LOANED them Giovinco, dont exaggerate we doomsday theories just yet.

We arent going to pay anything to get him back, because they just loaned him, didnt pay money to his half or such. It probably just means in case we dont want Giovinco, they have the right to buy him, a clause that gives them the official option to do so. But they dont own any part of him. And probably not anywhere as non-sensical as forcing our hands to sell him if Empoli offers. They didnt pay anything or half own him, thats when they get priviligies like that, not when its a loan.

Stendardo is a loan with an option to buy for us, Maniche is a loan for an option to buy for Inter etc. Pretty standard procedure. What kind of ridicolous notion is it that we would need to buy back a player we never even sold half of? Think a little. Its not like De Ceglie which we sold half of and need to buy back. Or like with Nocerino or Molinaro in the past. Or Criscito, which we bought half of btw, instead sold half of, because he is a Genoa youth product, not ours, we just bought half of him at first.

it's not the same sh*t with Stendardo and Maniche. I know what those deals are.

Giovinco is a loan + rights to buy for Empoli and Juve have the right to counter it buy paying a pre-determined sum for half of the contract.

Empoli will do it so they pay let's say 5m €...Juve counter for half so they pay 2.5m €...after that Juve and Empoli negotiate an amount to get him back at Juve.

That's 5m € from Empoli + 2.5m € from Juve so that 's 2.5m € in Juve's pockets. Juve offer 5m € for the other half and Giovinco is owned fully by Juve.

To make it simple, Empoli get 2.5m € out of it.

How are you so sure? If Empoli have an option to buy, they can exercise that option on him even if Giovinco doesn't want to stay there.

WTF??? Do we or dont we fully own him? What is the frigging point and incentive to give them a right they dont have a right to claim? Did they pay 2.5m to loan him? (or the right to buy him) Why in the hell do we have to buy back a player we LOANED?

Non of that makes any sense, it isnt a co-ownership but it still sounds like one? Can you explain it in another way?

And why has the management talked of Giovinco as a simple loan they will only recall, never any other mention of this retarded shit. This is insanely ridicolous, I wont believe it until its confirmed from all channels, just too fucking stupid and illogical.

Dear God, that is one of the worst pieces of business I've frankly ever seen.

Who the fuck does Secco think he is, Jérôme Kerviel?

This is like buying a put option on some stock, watching your stock fall 300% in the red, and finally not exercising your put while you take in all the losses you can. Fuck you, Secco.

That's why I said it's too complicated. :D

As I see it it's a masked co-ownership...we give them Giovinco to develop him and end up paying them for it. Around 2.5m € with my numbers. At least it's not 7.5m like the Criscito deal.

Even if what Mark says is true, that whole procedure is irrelevant. Let me explain:

Andy, Empoli cannot force Gio to buy his rights, because their option is a full ownership of the player, thus requiring the player himself to put pen to paper for this kind of deal to go through. However, if they had an option to co-own him, then Gio would probably have no say in the matter.

Basically Empoli have time until 30th of May/June to make their move. After that time, they will lose their option.

Exactly what I meant, how can they have conclusive rights for all of this to stick? Its senseless and cant be true as he says it. They dont own any part of him, and only have the option to buy him, not the conclusive right. Thats the only thing that makes sense.
