Yes, and it's unfortunate that this formation doesn't exactly suit a flank player. He gets pushed around frequently when playing in the centre. Perhaps having a go at Del Piero's position every now and then would suit Giovinco a bit better, where he'd be able to move out wide and cut in if he so chooses to do so.
