Perquis isn't that bad, he even managed to play some games for NT (which isn't that hard to acomplish since we don't have decent defenders besides Glik and Piszczek though).
I believe its good to know there are some internationality in Polish NT, all we have are just some Sunday League footballers who grew up in Lithuania's old-fashioned academies and develop their careers in kazakhstan or romania's second division. Poland is a good team overall, always has been, adding some internationality, like Perquis (no matter how good is he), gives more options, thats how these days football is reaching another level basically

Perquis grandparents were/are Polish. :D But i know what you're talking about, we gave our nationality to a Brazilian dude once, he even scored a goal for us in Euro 2008. It was quite unusual though, we prefer to search for players with Polish roots over naturalizing them. Many good players have Polish roots due to our history of emigration but they decide to represent their 'new' country. Like Felipe Luis, Dybala or Koscielny. Can't blame them though. :)
