Giovinco in Juve mega-offer for Cavani
By Football Italia staff

Juventus have reportedly offered a staggering €20m, Sebastian Giovinco and Alessandro Matri for Napoli hitman Edinson Cavani, but Luis Suarez is also an option.

The Bianconeri have made it clear they want a 'top player’ to reinforce their attack for next season in the Champions League.

According to the Corriere dello Sport this morning, that man is Cavani, who Napoli said they would only release for €70m.

The proposal being put to the Partenopei is supposedly €20m cash plus Italian internationals Giovinco and Matri.

Juve now own Giovinco after buying out Parma’s half of the starlet for €11m, but could immediately send him to the San Paolo in exchange for Cavani.

Matri struggled to find space in the side towards the end of the season and has been linked with a move away from Turin.

However, Tuttosport claim Juventus are instead turning their focus back towards Liverpool striker Suarez.

This is because of rumours the Reds are looking to Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and therefore putting Suarez on the market.

Another candidate for Juve is Robin Van Persie, but a great deal depends on whether he renegotiates his contract with Arsenal.

I love Cavani, and he is really what we need....but this is overpaying to say the least. Better go for suarez or dseko. Offer Matri and quags if they are so desperate for cavani. selling gio before testing him in our system is unwise.

I would even give another shot to Matri, now that Borrifuker is gone.

But it still has to be seen if they really have faith in Gio.
If they brought him back to use him on the Cavani deal, lying to him in the process by promising another shot at Juve....Marotta would end as a despicable being in my eyes.

It would be horrible both for Gio and our image. Not what we want. People need to realise that Giovinco last season had better statistics than someone like Alexis Sanchez in his last year in Udine. He isn't just a player coming of a good season, it was a fantastic season.

He isn't going anywhere, Marotta has already stated it .
Until the last day of the mercato anyone can be sold, doesn't matter what Marotta says... That said, if Giovinco has come back, he's probably sure of what Juve has in store for him (keeping him or selling him).
That offer is bonkers. Either both players for Cavani or one of them plus cash.

Exactly, it would be bad for us long-term and for our dealings with players in the future. Marotta's word would be worthless and thast something we cant afford.

No the sick one is you for wishing jewfucko wearing legendary #10 ,
and i dont mind being a prick , you sick faq
Of course it's ridiculous Gio to be given #10, but his question was closer to "what are the odds of Gio to be our new #10" than "I wish its him". So stop acting like a boss in front of the monitor and stop insulting people.

Lol Seriously Albert, calm down :) One thing to joke around (or just state your distaste of a player) but lash out on others for different opinion/take on things is unwarranted.

As Primitive well pointed it out, you got it all wrong.
I was against Giovinco since the minute he was sent on loan, but since he is back, i wish that he will play good, beacuse after all, I am a Juventus fan, not a Giovinco fan.
No one can replace Ale, and i suggest you to learn the meaning of the ? mark. It wasn't a statement, it was a QUESTION.

Giovinco, Matri & €20 mill? Are we doing our best to make them Scudetto contenders or what? $#@! that.
Exactly,

people here tend to toally ignore matri and treat him like an average amauri now that he is not the hot deal of our attack.... but in fact this guy can be super dangerous....specially if he will have giovinco assisting his ass 24/7. We make a good eal yes, but we also lose some importan players and we also make our enemy strong.... and we will lose money too.
