Rangers will win the league, Walter is the man better than that tub of lard that manages the sheeps
See this is what I mean. Doesn't make grammatical sense, total lack of coherent argument.

I suggest Celtic are better than Rangers so you criticise Aberdeen?

Calderwood is a buffoon, I won't defend him. Remember though, he is a hun so you are criticising your own.

I can't stand Calderwood. Never liked him. His contract is up at the end of the season and I hope it doesn't get renewed.

He spends his whole time spouting off to the media about Aberdeen fans unrealistic expectations and how he is a hun. Anyone who saw the wild celebrations at 3rd place would see the expectations are reasonable.

His signings have been decent generally, but most of the good players are injury prone.

He is tactically incompetent.

He decided to do pre-season is egypt and the players still haven't recovered from the heat, not to mention the virus they came back with or the car crash. The fact we have been in a winning position in all four games but inished up with 2 points shows the players are totally unfit.

Huns are through 0-0. Fuck sake.
:

So he's not on your Christmas card list then:D

Could we see Brewster back soon as Manager?

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Brewster manages Aberdeen at some point.

Word is Calderwood is on Leicester City's short list for a new manager, so hopefully we can get shot of him sooner rather than later.

Incidently, it turns out we have a resident hun (juve step) who seems unwilling to join in the reasoned debate but is quite happy to try a pick a fight with me via PM's or anywhere else. He couldn't be a more typical hun, between his sending me sectarian lyrics and being incapable of actually arguing a point.

Leicester City...I wonder if he would tell their fans, and especially their owner, that their expectations are too high?

A Ger in the house...thanks for the spot and gen up...

I've been here for nearly seven years - joined when Celtic played Juve in the CL.
My post number is actualy many thousands more than it appears due to forum revamps at which I never took up the option of bringing forward my previous totals.

Just telling you this because at first I had to initially endure the juventini's scorn of Celtic, Scottish and, well, essentially all British football in general until eventually they accepted me as someone who just loved to talk footie (incidently I'm also a juve fan and have taken part in many debates on Juventus matters too, not just Scottish football).

Most of the people I used to debate things with are long gone but even now the overall majority of folk are a pleasure to 'talk' to.

However, there's has been some real scunners who deserved a right clip around the ears to keep them in line...I'm still here though....:D

I did notice but I didn't want to bring the Scottish thing to this thread more than I had to:) ...here, wait a minute...Celtic a weeker team:tdown: ...ah well...ok:cool:

No matter what the form I go for Hibs...but if Hearts play in Europe I support them.

Hibs play attractive football:eyebrows: ...Hearts have gone backwards:disagree:
Iain, my friend (an Aberdeen fan) says the same thing. He's an Aberdeen fan but has lived almost all his live in Edinburgh. Also when it comes to the capital he prefers Celtic.

As an Aberdeen fan, Celtic are always seen as the lesser of two evils. There just isn't the level of hatred when Aberdeen play Celtic.

I'm sure you can imagine my response when this landed in my mailbox from juve-step. Real classy introduction.

RANGERS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IF THEY GO 2 DUBLIN WE WILL FOLLOW ON

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When Britain first, at heaven's command,
Arose from out the azure main,
Arose, arose, arose from out the a-azure main,
This was the charter, the charter of the land,
And guardian angels sang this strain:

Rule Britannia!
Britannia rule the waves.
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.

Rule Britannia!
Britannia rule the waves.
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.

juve red

When I was a kid (I saw Joe Harper at Celtic Park and saw Dalgleish's last game for Celtic, I saw Bremmner's miss against Brazil in the 74 wc) I used to play footie down the park on a Monday night...we would have 15 a side and it was magic fun...no problems, everyone having a great time...

On Tuesday night we couldn't get three a side...everyone else was at flute band practice...the Bobby Sands memorial or the L O L 1690...

My grand parents couldn't get a job in this factory or that office if they put the school they attended on the application form...

I've been to games with bottle attacks, knife frenzies, baseball bat ambushes...you get the idea...

Your doing your LLB just now if memory serves me...We'll I'm just finishing off my LLM...when I was a young lad just finished my full time student days I attended an interview at a blue chip firm...the senior partner, after telling me how impressed he was with my portfolio proceeded to enter into a diatribe on how important it was in ensuring that 'charity' was served to the best of a young mans ability and to do this one should be a member of the masons...which I wasn't...nothing surprises or shocks me about 'the best small country in the world'...your better out of it up north

i don't understand why Aberdeen fans don't like Calderwood. He has done a great job for them on basicly no money every season. Coming 3rd last season was an unbelievable achievement for them considering how well Hibs, Hearts and Killie played at times. Calderwood has built a team that is difficult to beat on next to nothing. I honestly can't see anybody doing much better.

Don't get me wrong i'm not a Calderwood fan, nor do i have any opinion in favour/against Aberdeen. Sometimes it seems Aberdeen fans forget that times have changed and they are no longer a team that can challenge for a title.
