Firstly real shame about Neil McCann...looked like his studs dug in and he went over on his ankle...out for 6 months...

Second...Brewster to ICT...no fee? Now I know he's 40, but he's still gonna score 15+ goals a season for the Dons...something in his contract juve red?

Thirdly...transfer window closes Friday...any club transfer rumours about?...apart from Naismith to the gers

Finaly...table:

I don't know if there was offiially something in the contract, but Brewster being best mates with Tango means he could have asked for any clause in the deal he wanted.

Amazing how little tranfer rumours there have been. See Celtic are trying to get shot of Gravesen (what a waste of wages he's been), Miller (A slightly evolved Darren Mackie) and Zurawski.

Just doesn't make sense to me...if he acts as a player manager at ICT and scores against the Dons later this season it'll be a farce:disagree:

Gravesen...wont miss him although he should have flourished in Scotland

Miller...should be given more time...may be inconsistent, but when things click he can change games

Zurawski...an enigma...played great first season...went to world cup, played like a plonker...came back injured...fizzled ever since...cant quite figure that one out...what about the Dons? anyone lined up? you should be looking for cover up front at least...

its just the same as a player starting the season at a club then moving to another before the transfer window closes e.g if Whittaker was to score against Hibs. I dont see the problem except the fact that Brewster left for nothing

I'm not sure we need a replacement. We have Miller, Mackie, Lovell, Maguire and Jamie Smith plays best as a striker.

Supposedly we are close to signing Scott Dobie whih I assume would be on Brewster's wage. I would rather we didn't sign another forward and gave Chris Maguire a chance cos he has the potential to be a seriously good player.

There have been rumours about Lovell leaving all summer and Southend are ment to be about to bid. I will be fucking outraged if Calderwood sells the best goal scorer we have. If he does it will be a massive risk, and could hasten his departure.

There was also a rumour that we would try and get Pressley off you :)shocked: ). I can't see this being true though, as he would have to take an enormous wage cut.

good points here...you do have good forwards, but do you have the strong target man?

dont know much about Maguire but a dons fan I work with talks well of him

are you happy with Calderwood?...always seems to talk a good game and presents himself well...wasn't that long ago seen as potential lord of the sith

Pressley to Aberdeen?...thats a good one...I'm gonna spread that one tomorrow and see how far it gets:D

Rangers look to be comfortable at the moment...Red Star don't look that great

I can't stand Calderwood. Never liked him. His contract is up at the end of the season and I hope it doesn't get renewed.

He spends his whole time spouting off to the media about Aberdeen fans unrealistic expectations and how he is a hun. Anyone who saw the wild celebrations at 3rd place would see the expectations are reasonable.

His signings have been decent generally, but most of the good players are injury prone.

He is tactically incompetent.

He decided to do pre-season is egypt and the players still haven't recovered from the heat, not to mention the virus they came back with or the car crash. The fact we have been in a winning position in all four games but inished up with 2 points shows the players are totally unfit.

Huns are through 0-0. Fuck sake.

Just the sort of high class reasoned debate I expect from you. I will be surprised if Celtic don't win the league because they have much better squad depth.
