What do you guys think about Benjelloun (Hibernian)? I heard he's linked to Anderlecht, but it seems Marseille are also trailing him.

Never seen him play.

He's a very good player. One of the best in our league last season.
no offence, but that really doesn't say too much :p

He's a decent player but is very very inconsistent. Full of flair and a decent finisher, the Hibs fans i know all like him. But i wouldn't think he is good enough to make a difference at a club that plays in the Champions League almost everyseason.

Geof,

He has good pace, good technique, not really much of a finisher given that he is a forward.

He is a decent player, but he doesn't have the strength or the fight to do really well in Scotland.

He could do well in a league which is played at a slower pace and isn't quite so physical.

Indeed, McFadden what a fool @ going to Birmingham and now he wants out very illogical..
Really stupid.

He only joined them six months ago, and it was always a decent chance they would be relegated.

If he (or his agent) had any sense, they would have insisted on a relegation release clause in the contract.

Thanks for the info. I think these rumours are just based on the fact that he scored v. Belgium with the Moroccan team (but then again, who didn't?). Anderlecht already have a lightweight Moroccan dribbler in Mbark Boussouffa, who looks better than what you're describing.

Hibs also have a record of demanding pretty big fees for their players.

He definitely wouldn't be worth what they would want for him.

I'm not sure how long his contact is, so hard to say.

If he has more than one year left on his contract it won't be much under £1m. If he has one year to go on his contract, it may be nearer £500,000.

He definitely isn't worth more than £500,000.

must be his stepping stone to Real Madrid :shifty:

his agent is Willie MacKay,basically the most money hungry cunt in football. he was the man who got andy webster out of hearts and onto the ibrox treatment table via wigan! also the man who negotiated new contracts for scott brown and thompson at Hibs and then 3 months later engineered a move as hibs would not re-negotiate new deals for them,

would not surprise me if he advised faddy to go to birmingham safe in the knowledge that he would then be getting him another move 6 months later and a nice 10%
