Yeah.

Supposedly a Celtic coach was abusing players in the youth team and Stein was aware of it but did nothing about it.

Don't know how much truth there is in it.

Huns found guilty-ish regarding the EBT stuff from a sporting point of view.

Looks to me like the panel knew that had to find them guilty, but didn't have the nerve to impose a proper punishment.

How a decade of cheating by playing players who were not properly registered and, therefore, to mind, ineligible, can be put down as an administrative error is beyond me.

Standard procedure when an ineligible player is fielded is for the team to forfeit the game 3-0, so Rangers should have been stripped of all titles that were won by fielding those players.

After all, the SFA isn't exactly shy about kicking lower league teams out of the Scottish Cup every other year for the fielding of ineligible players.

Why aren't they all just dismissed as administrative errors and the clubs given a slap on the wrist token punishment instead of being kicked out of the competition?

"Although the payments in this case were not themselves irregular and were not in breach of SPL or SFA rules, the scale and extent of the proven contraventions of the disclosure rules require a substantial penalty to be imposed.

"Rangers FC did not gain any unfair competitive advantage from the contraventions of the SPL rules in failing to make proper disclosure of the side-letter arrangements, nor did the non-disclosure have the effect that any of the registered players were ineligible to play, and for this and other reasons no sporting sanction or penalty should be imposed on Rangers."

Some cracking rule interpretations there.

So there is no requirement to properly register player contracts any more.

You can also get off with pretty much anything if you can show you didn't gain an unfair competitive advantage.

Used to make a big show of playing the ball in the ground when they were in the SPL, though that often just meant twenty sideways passes on the halfway line before the big punt up to the CF.

Aberdeen used to consistently beat them with ease just by sitting back, watching them doing nothing with the ball and hitting on the break or waiting for a defensive error.

That was a couple of years ago now, though, and I don't know what he's done more recently.

Don't know anything about Falkirk's owners, so I assume they are a boring bunch.

Great, that sounds scarily like the Mark Robins school of thought.

We have one of the better squads in the league, any manager with half a brain could have that team around the promotion places.

Pressley, it should be noted, is also a cunt.

Diving, cheating bastard of a player and has just played for all of the most despicable clubs in Scotland.

Still:

A funny own goal and a very funny haircut.

I was waiting for your input on his playing career :D

I remember watching his very short spell here as a player, he cost quite a bit and was highly rated but never really got into the team. That is saying something, as our team in the PL then and the standard of the league was utter shite.
