Replacing Ale will be one of the hardest tasks ever faced by la vecchia signora. But she has done it many times before, Boniperti, Sivori, Platini, Laudrup, Baggio. I love Ale as much as anyone, but life, & Juve will go on. Think how great telling stories of Del Piero to your grandchildren will be. They will see a few highlights, look at his name in the record books. We were there ladies & Gents, we saw this truly world class player, this amazing bianconeri, our Ale, play, in the flesh, genius in our lifetime. I for one will be so proud to tell these stories.
yepp man ure so right.... not to mention how we also replaced zidane.... i feel really lucky that we have witnessed the carier of del piero.. and btw there is still so much to come from ale .. he definetely doesnt want to leave juve :D

i don't see it that way, whenever we lose a great player like zizou or henry you cannot replace them (with someone greater), we compensate the best we can and thats what i fear will happen when trez leaves. valeri/dp are a good front duo but i think boji has much to learn still.

i dont think dp boji will be our duo up front next year.. i dont even think juventus will keep valerij.. at least deschamps doesnt seem to blv alot in him.. id like to keep valerij but we have to admit that spending 6 and a half million euros for a player to stay on the bench is not juventus priority for next yearr

Why do you all rate Gila as a top attacker? He does nothing with Milan this year, and last year he did not convince me at all.He was great in his Parma days but maybe he can not stand the pressure of a big club.IMO he is nowhere near Trez.
I am agree with you :agree:

Trez is such a true finisher. One touch and it's all he needs. We so sorely lack that in Serie B right now as it is. Gila -- as much as I like the guy -- wouldn't give us that in B, let alone A.

He saw Gilardino underperforming, he saw Milan needs someone who can actually score goals, he heard Trez might leave us, and he got himself an article !

Bojinov doesn't impress me much either. His personality also seems a little stupid to me. I would rather have Luis Saha...that come to think of it, is not that bad either.

There we are back because of the Berlusconi Friendly:

Juventus offer Trezeguet for AC Milan's Gilardino
    tribalfooball.com - January 04, 2007

Juventus are keen to setup a swap deal involving David Trezeguet for AC Milan striker Alberto Gilardino.

Trezeguet would prefer a move to Real Madrid, but Juve will take advantage of their Trofeo Berlusconi meeting with Milan to propose a swap for Italy international Gilardino.

Milan, while interested in Trezeguet, are reluctant to part with Gilardino, who rediscovered is scoring touch last month.

I have still in my ears the interview of Secco saying that if Trez and Buffon leaves Juve they will not leave to an Italian Club. And i read this Rumour today also on Tuttomercatoweb and not only on Tribal

Gilardino would shine here IMO, cause when he plays with a partner he is usually selfish while when he plays by himself he will be isolated

    Cobolli Promises Big Signings

The Juve President wants to hold on to the important players of the team by bringing in some big names.

zoom - galleria Following Gigi Buffon's comments that he will leave if Juventus is not competitive next season, President Cobolli Gigli has made it clear that the Bianconeri will be signing world class players in summer to build a very strong Juventus side.

According to reports from Italy, the Bianconeri have already been promised Barzagli from Palermo. For the midfield department, Secco and Blanc are currently in London to negotiate a deal with West Ham for Mascherano. (Thought they were giving up the Interest?)

Whilst in England, they will also meet with the Liverpool directors to evaluate the possibility of bringing Crouch to Italy:shifty: . However, the main targets in attack remain Huntelaar, Klose and Gilardino :weee: , with the latter being exchanged for Trezeguet.

On paper these would all sound very important signings, but it is yet unclear whether the Bianconeri will actually manage to sign all of these players due to the economic situation the club is in.

JUST SAY NO TO CROUCH! We do not want that human lamp post on Juve.

I wonder if Juve and Milan talked about a possible Trez-Gila transfer today?
hope so. If Gila comes to Juve i'd be so happy, he's always been one of my favourite italian players. I always thought Juve would have a brilliant attack and the future of Italian strikers:

    Cassano-----------Gilardino

    unfortunately none came...yet

Well, it sounds like Juve is interested in Gila. I don't know if Milan is willing to make the move. But they sound like THEY may be the ones who end up with Cassano. If that happens & we are offering Milan Trez, Gila could come to Juve. I know alot of people don't want Trez to go there, but let's face it, he's 33 and he isn't going to get better. For Gila, the future is now and would be a wonderful fit with Juventus.
