im a fan of trez but at his age and with his injury list, he isnt a player who will playing for another 5 seasons.
Lyon are making some good offers, and i think the 25 million euro mark sounds better than swapping him for gilardino. gilardino is a star player but if we cash in on our stars, we need to leverage the costs better.
I would rather get 25 to 30 million for Trez from Lyon and buy Bojinov outright from fiorentina, bring in a young star like Huntelaar, and use the rest of the money to fix the defence.

It is more probably that Fiorentina and Milan will make next summer a swap between Toni and Gila. Gila back to his mentor and Toni to a big club.

at leastt we all agree that maybe trezeguet should be leaving juve.. it just seems the better for everybody... i think trezeguet was the best stricker at juventus for a long time, but its time to move on, he is bit old, he has alot of injuries, and he might not even be so happy at juventus.. if we give to milan we will be strengthining them alot, however milan's avrage age is already very high and with trezeguet instead of gila it keeps getting higher.. i wouldnt mind signing toni instead of trezeguet or amauri... as for huntelear there is so much hype around him, even to me, but with del piero getting bit old, bojinov incosistent and huntelear we might lack that player who will give us 20 goals deifnetely per season,.. its not easy to replace trezeguet and given the way things have been going without him in serie b i even thought juventus should sell him now to be sure we get the 25 million or 30 million from lion..
the way i see it is that gila and trez are both good but trez is far more experienced and better. on top of that here is the major distinction between the 2 IMO:
gila = threat.
trez = weapon.
9/10 times i would choose trez to lace up his boots for juve and if it is a must leave situation then lets get fair market value, i'm reading +25 mil in some posts and 50 mil in others but i strongly believe that we will get something of value for trezegol if we let him go.

Well I for one am NOT saying I want Trez to leave, not at all. He has been class for us from minute one. If I have said anything about replacing him, its simply because everything he says seems to point to his exit in June. I would wish him all the best, as long as he leaves Italy, going to one of our rivals would make me lose all respect I hold for him. As for your point about Huntelaar, if he can't get us 20 goals a season, why the hell would we be getting him?

its quite easier to get 20 goals per season in holland than it is in italy.. i remember huintelar playing against italy in the u21 europeans and he didnt really impress.. im not saying huntelar is not good, none of this, i am one who really wants huntelear at juventus because he is really a great player, but there is no guuranatee that he will settle in easily, so all i was saying is that we might have lack of goals up front..
than about toni i know toni is old as david, but age is not a problem for juventus, i was only saying it with respect to milan, we have many youngsters in our squad, and the prob of trezeguet is not his age just that he might want to leave and that he is prone to injuries... and what i meant by toni is that if we dont sign huntelear and others players mentioned i see him as the best option available

gilardino is doing nothing at milan but its deifnetely not his fault.. its hard to tell weather gilardino is up to standard to what he has shown at parma... i honestly think that he is nor bad as much as this year and nor so consistent and good as he had shown at parma... but he is still young ... if you talk to gilardino indipendently we can say alot of good things about him.. the prob is that we might see gilardino as a replacment to trezeguet and in this case he might not seem good enough... than again i dont know who will seem good enough to replace davidd
no doubt that he hasn't shined this year and that is my exact point when i say that he is only a threat. trezegol's exit (if it must come to that) should garner not an equal 1:1 ratio of talent but value and a future to look forward to. the mentality that gila is or isn't equal to trez needs to be shaken off cuz in reality no one gives us what trez does in terms of output and explosiveness. maybe boji but they seem to be 2 different animals.

Replacing Ale will be one of the hardest tasks ever faced by la vecchia signora. But she has done it many times before, Boniperti, Sivori, Platini, Laudrup, Baggio. I love Ale as much as anyone, but life, & Juve will go on. Think how great telling stories of Del Piero to your grandchildren will be. They will see a few highlights, look at his name in the record books. We were there ladies & Gents, we saw this truly world class player, this amazing bianconeri, our Ale, play, in the flesh, genius in our lifetime. I for one will be so proud to tell these stories.
