Risky strategy, if any of these gurus are actually speaking the truth.

The worst possible scenario is we miss out on all our targets, end up with Fagjinho and no one else, and then end up panic buying some irrelevant shitbag a la Hernanes :sigh:

Agresti says the same, basically we're letting other clubs act while we're stalled on Pogba and Arthur
Or they decided to got for Jorginho, who'd be a starter, unlike Tonali (after Pjanic is gone).

    Ramsey - Jorginho - Bentancur

Then we'll have to see who else comes. I'm pretty sure the above will be just a starting point.

Is Arthur still on the table? Pogba? I'd go for Aouar tbh.

If the window is to open only in September and it's very likely Brescia is going to be relegated I don't really see the point of formalizing any offer this early.

This situation reminds me on how we missed out on Hamsik when Napoli signed him from Brescia.

Apparently we made contacts with him and told him that we won't formulate an early bid. Maybe this means that we are telling him: "Hang on till Brescia get relegated so the conditions to strike a good deal are more favorable".
Also Inter's bid (reportedly) is 35m+Primavera player. It's not very hard to beat this especially that most probably this figure includes bonuses.

for what possible reason? We are more successful, he can play with CR7, our midfield is more in need of repair so more playing time.

Only reason can be that we made no serious approach while Inter did.
Which again comes back to Tici and Swayze with their hands on the wheel.

One can’t acquire what we need nor sell what we don’t.

The other scouts 1 key player every 3 years
