I'm against this rule of Juventus that we can't use youngsters to be the 5th player of the rotation. Specially when one of the 5 is Giovinco and the other had a serious injury. There should opportunities and if the guy is good, he can develop.

So I'd go for a kid like Zaza or Boakye.

Boakye is a kid with a lot of potential. Letting him rot in some shitty La Liga team's bench like Levante or Valladolid or whatever won't help him very much. At the same time, I think he's good enough to fight for a rotation spot for Juventus. He'd come with a salary of less than 1M a year. It's a difference of 6M gross to what Eto'o makes, thus we could have bought back half of him, which was just sold by Genoa for 1.75M to Atalanta.
Seriously, Boakye?

Eto'o even at this age is 10 times the player he is, there must be a reason that he is a bench player at Elche, no?

A game in CL, our strikers can't do shit, 80th minute, Allegri turns to see the options on the bench and there is Boakye shitting his pants.

Then how are these kids ever going to break into the world stage? Im being biased because I like boakye but either way if its seriously down to borriello or eto'o i seriously hope they make the obvious better decision

Not saying you're wrong, but rookie-Zapata needed less than 10 minutes to produce this:
