I think for the first two goals. He’s another case of getting too much hate here. I too don’t want him to start, but he’s getting bashed during games from minute one. Badass started early yesterday and right after his pass to Higuain lead to a goal. But Khedira still got close to nothing praise for the goal. I consider rooting for him only because of this

Khedira played a big part on both goals, particularly the second with a superb through ball. He also played a similar pass to Licht in the first half. I think people say things about certain players without actually looking at their performance, I read several people saying he only passes sideways. Well our last game proved otherwise. Blaming him for their goal is also nonsense, Matuidi gave a no-look pass and got caught out, there was no way Khedira would have made that, this coming from someone who has grown to like Matuidi.
I think we need to upgrade our midfield but I don't see the criticism as merited in the last game.

Other than the poor bit of defending on Caceres goal, I though he had a pretty solid game. Still, Matuidi played a hospital pass so close to goal, but strangely, he escaped criticism for it on here.
And yes Badass has become even more annoying than normal with his new Khedira scapegoating. I’m with you, I support Sami even more now, just for this reason.

Khedira is kinda okaish as a player, but he was never meant to carry the weight of our team on the midfield. He was brought in to replace vidal (!). We would have been much better with a matuidi like player.
In a team that depends so much on its mids to soak pressure, khedira is a total luxury. And not even a good one. I dont see how allegri keeps using him so much. Thats his fault too for being obsessed.

That sounds like you should complain about it in the Beppe thread, not in the Khedira thread.

He starts because we have nothing better (in a 3 man mid). In an ideal world he would be 1st back up behind 3 wordclass mids, but you can't always get what you want. Has nothing to do with Max being stubborn.

I suppouse he s here because max asked for him in first place. I think this is like that because he sure loves using him since the very first day he came. I dont think this one is on beppe alone.
Anyways, if allegri is deadset on using him, he should always use him in a midfield trio. No more of pairing him with pjanic or anyone.

I am one of his biggest critics but he is performing well off late in a 3 man midfield and I totally understand the decision behind fielding him ahead of Marchisio. The problem is his limitations might get exposed against stronger teams.
We lack that 3rd top quality CM to return to the quality levels of 2015 team's midfield.

Lol why do posters on this forum like to make it seem that Tuz hates their favorite players. From what iv seen probably 60% of this forum have a favorable opinion on Sami. I personally thought he was complete ass in a 2 man mid but has improved in the 3. Still dont think he is good enough to be starting though and eventually Marchisio or Bentancur should take over.
Maybe 60% of people like him but 85% of the posts are negative and their is very little praise. He played very well yesterday and completed some crucial passes. One that got us our winning goal. Im ok with critisizing players but when haters cant admit that a player on their team did something good its quite annoying and childish.

So he didnt set up the winning goal? Was he weak defensively? We switched to a 3 man because Dybala is weak defensively not him.
