and it's not pjanic's fault. he always had 2 of ddr/nainggolan/strootman/keita besides him, so he was the creative guy, the others played the physical side of football. now we have a khedira - hernanes - pjanic trio in the middle, and none of them are capable of 5-6 tackles per games like any of marchisio, vidal or pogba could do.

our midfield is incomplete at the moment, and i'd rather blame marotta than blame pjanic for the situation. it's still a good squad, but we're missing 2 players like vidal and pogba: strong, defensively useful guys with passing skills.

Either play Pjanic as an AM or drop Khedira for Sturaro or Lemina, at least they will cover for Pjanic and give him more freedom.

Marchisio is about to come back . He doesnt need to be thrown in with two new players. Marchisio will come back and give us stability. Will we have a great mid? Maybe not bc we need a destroyer but I think we will flow much better and our speed will be less exposed offensively. Defensively I think we will be fine when we can move the balll around a little better and not get pinned
