I’m not an accountant but is $6 million worth fighting over. Of course $6 million is a huge amount for me but for Juve?
That's not the point. If you have to pay him everything and lose him, then you might as well keep his as a bench option for one more year.

It's like you giving up on your TV cable a year earlier but you're forced to pay 100% anyway. You don't save up anything so you might as well keep it. You might use it from time to time after all. Better than nothing.

I believe Khedira's book value is not 0 euro as well, so we'd record a minusvalenza.

6m net, its probably 10m gross. Beppe looks like a complete moron for giving him that deal and given he is known to not be a moron, I can't help but wonder whether this was a fuck you move to the employer who kicked him out. If so, I'd have preferred he gifted the contract to Chiellini, at least that guy deserves it.

The real question here is how agnelli let that happen.

Like in any big company, those kind of deals need the approval and the sign of the CEO. Agnelli must have been drunk when he signed that

At this point it might be much easier to accept Khedira as a backup for one more season and sell Ramsey to them Premfaces. The latter has still some market value but doesn't pull his weight when it comes to his wages here.

Paying the full salary to Khedira just to get him off the roster won't benefit the club at all. If it brings no savings, you have to look elsewhere?

Personally I think Sami should be raising his kids in an islamic country, not the sinful west. He should head there immediately imo.
Haha i don't know if he is muslim or has any kids. This guy is half German. He should just go back to VFB Stuttgart where he began, they are now in the Bundesliga.
Whatever, this guy is cool. I don't understand the antipathy towards him.

I keep hearing that he's refusing to leave. Juventus offered him a contract and now they don't want him, which is fine. But you can't expect him to give you anything back at all. He's not going to leave 6 million when he's clearly not getting that back. Pay him what you owe him and he'll leave.
Clubs are getting fucked all the time tbh. A player can do fuck all the whole time and still make millions. Ridiculous.

We seem to be the only club that thinks players perform better when they have a long contract, and renews contracts with 2+ years left ffs. Of course players get comfy as fuck.

So fucking annoying, but I can't blame him. We were stupid enough to offer him that extension and that money. Freeze him out of the team, and we'll see how happy he is come October-November, especially if he harbors any ambition of making the Germany squad for the Euros.

ha haa, what did i told ya? He would only leave, should we pay his entire contract, till the very last day. We have no means to protect ourselves, legal, like clauses, or otherwise...
All those players know it and counting on it!
The saddest part is that we never learn and keep repeating the very same mistakes each and every year..
