Khedira is vastly inferior to both Can and Bentancur at every aspect of being a midfielder. Can and Bentancur are much faster than Khedira, cover a lot more ground, defend better, and are just as good at passing.

Khedira's only strength his occasional goalscoring, which is redundant in a team with our attack. The primary purpose of our midfielders should be to supply our amazing forwards.

Coaches have favorites, and this sloth seems to be one of Allegri's favorites. We're stuck with him, probably as a starter, this season as well. We need to accept it and hope he either improves or his deficiencies aren't highlighted against high level opponents. It's such a shame we went from Prime Cheesio, Vidal, Pogba, and Pirlo to this lazy, slow, and soft midfield we currently possess.

I like him and think he could/should be the starter in most games but hes exploitable in games that matter most. So we need to find what will work there. Not saying he cant but it needs to be in a 3 man and not 2
