Sami Khedira says he plans to play in Major League Soccer one day, though a move is not likely to happen in the immediate future.

The Juventus midfielder has been linked with a move to MLS as soon as the summer, but the 29-year-old believes he has a few years at the very top to go before he thinks about winding down his career in the United States.

"I can see some travelling in my future," Khedira told Italy's La Repubblica. "I will go to America, but not yet. I want to play at the highest level for a few more years -- I still feel good physically and mentally.

"There are a lot of great players around, but I don't think there are that many better than me.

"I want to win the Champions League and I want to defend the World Cup title with Germany and all of this would not be possible if I went to the USA or China. Besides, I'm earning pretty well here anyway."

We were on the verge of a famous victory 4-2 leading. And on comes khedira at 60th minute, with FRESH PAIR OF LEGS. AND all he did was ball watched and rendered us 10 men. And Bayern capitalized on that and scored 4 goals and we got eliminated.

Khedira came off in the 68th minute in that game against Bayern when it was still 2 - 0 for us. They scored all four of their goals once he had left the pitch.

Just shows how great Samigood is when you need to change the facts in order to discredit him. Sami is so nice and handsome too so I do get why some of the not so lucky ones on here would feel jealous.
