Organised religion is a sham, first of all, and second, if there was a God, I will talk to him one-on-one, I would not mess with any caniving middle-man.

Esp. not a middle man that has spent over $600 Million over the last 10 years trying to keep child molestation suits out of court.

Ohh, and who made things so hard, just break them down, it can't be that hard for the English mind.
The very essence of Islam :)

Then why go to church?

If I had to choose a religion it would be Islam, because I would love to be hated by white trash Texans who do not know what they are talking aobut. I agree with, who was that, good call Zam.

Thanx burke...but I don't really think of it as a set of choices to choose from. A person does not simply shop for religion...he/she merely should follow what makes logical sense

No problem, I didn't mean it like that, I was just saying if I HAD to choose a religion, I would be as far away from Catholicism as possible. I would rather be Islamic, Jewish, or Orthodox.

I am not religious anyway, so no worries.

Who the **** cares about some chump sitting up there giving his idea of what happened?

READ the actual book, and make your OWN INFORMED decision.
When you go to church you read the ACTUAL book. If you dont want to listen about what the priest is saying, then dont

The reason why Catholics attend church is because it's part of the religion. It's where you come to listen to the readings from the Gospel, recieve the body and blood of Christ, and I guess just spend some time in your week in the Lord's presence.

You can "talk" with God through prayer.

So if I say two thing pro-English will that even it out, or should just be equal and say something anti-English in every post.

Either one is fine with me.
You should stop posting to me like im a fvcking idiot. You should stop making and helping your otherwise pathetic postings towards me with subtle anti-english sentiment.

You are and always have posted english comments when posting with me, 'my english mind' and 'scots and irish have more class' are only two more.

Your a coward again, never see you post these to shadowfax. How come?

Your an idiot again, disliking a nation over footballing reasons. A nation that has given more to your own than any other and a nation who has citizens giving more to your country than your worthless ass ever will.

Yet you play the american act all the time and cry when blandie posted anything anti-american. Your so dumb you dont see that YOU are the exact reason people like Blandest hate your country.

This is a little over the top but the hell :howler:

Can you buy a bible at a book store?

I'm not sure, because if you could you could bypass worthless church, it is just a building of stone where people say, "well this is what this means, and this means this."

    Just useless.

Do it on your own. That is why I hate the Catholic church.

Confession is when you talk with a Priest to seek forgiveness for sins. You cannot "absolve yourself from sin" without the help of a Priest.
Andy i know what confession is...i was just giving fabi an example of a "proxy" between a catholic and god which she denies
