I have no idea who he is, how he looks like or how good his skill is. If there is any chance, I'd like it if we kept Masi rather than investing in someone who seems, judging by the opinion of others of course, to be a quick fix and then never to be used again.

Bocchetti's an alright player.

Defensively he's probably of a pretty similar standard to Bonucci, but he's not as comfortable in possession.

Reasonably mobile and tend to think of him as a decent man-marker.

Heh, high praise I gave Bocchetti there: alright, reasonable, decent.

I can't see Bocchetti being a problem if Juve sign him, but he's not going to offer an improvement, in all probability.

What kind of defender is he?
He's a pretty calm and (at times too) confident defender who - in my opinion - would be a top-notch back-up (?) for our 3-man-backline. He already played in a 3-man-defense at Genoa which is also very favourable.

I've been impressed by him ever since watching him for the Azzurrini, I could be slightly biased:p I have no idea how he did at Rubin Kazan though.

Edit: Just read that tomorrow's Tuttosport title is "Finally Juve". Tuttosport have a good record this season...Odd if we really get him before we know the final situation of Bonucci.

Edit 2: Apparently it's an interview of Bocchetti. Meh.

Bocchetti will be an excellent backup. Better than Lucio.

It will be favourable for us, if we can get him on loan with option to buy. If Bonucci is gone for one year, then Bocchetti and Lucio will battle it out to start at CB. Next year we can kick Lucio out and use our option to buy Bocchetti to backup our CBs (depends on price of course!).

Meh. :D

It's probably a sensible move if Bonucci is going to be out for a bit.

He's good enough that he's not going to be problem playing a lot (where Andreolli could be a problem) and, as Marcello say, he'd be a good backup anyway, so he can have some sort of role longer term.

If Juve aren't going to shell out for a really good CB - and I can't even think who that could be - they might as well sign Bocchetti.

Yeah I can't imagine this guy other than a back-up, though honestly I didn't see enough of him yet.

as for a good CB, I'm thinking Hummels :tuttosport: but hey

Would be a great transfer if Bonucci is to get suspended.

If we could swap Ziegler for Bocchetti, that would be amazing.

Average player. Nothing great or amazing about this transfer Joe. Are you over-rating him A la Rossi, Gabbiadini, and Immobile? :p
I think if we could swap Ziegler for Bocchetti then yes, I would call it amazing. :D

If we would have to pay a large fee for him, I rather us keep Masi with the first team.
