I didn't see the French government using chemical weapons to kill this minority though. I fail to see how you compared them.

The Kurds in Irak wanted independance because they were being treated as rebels and they were subject to all kinds of humiliation and discrimination.

A friend of mine was arrested five times. He worked as an electrician and the company where he worked had some contracts with hotels. Each time he went to fix something in a hotel he was arrested because they thought he was going to blow p the hotel. An Iraqi going to fix something in a hotel would not have been treated the same way.

Minorities are not always the target of authoritites, Armenians in Lebanon are not. Samis in Sweden are not. Foreigners in Holland are not etc. It is only where there is a tyrant as an authority these things happen.

no, I don´t think that Iraq is occupying kurdistan, but we did not have oour rights at the past. Now it is a new time, if you like or not, we see a kurdish president thanks to the american occupying of Irak..
