Tuchel's Chelsea played with 10 man after Gallagher red card in 28 mins against Leicester. But they still able to beat them 2-1 this season before the sack.

We cant even attack them when we play 11 vs 11. Then we cant even defend the score when 11 vs 10. I dont have any words if management thinks Allegri will be part of the solution.

And both are good players. But when these are your star signings after you let Dybala & De Ligt leave???

This window was in my opinion one of the worst in living memory
Surely you’re joking.
The team is definitely better than last season.
Allegri is making them play pukeworthy football yet again. You really think this team isn’t good enough to beat Monza, Salernitana, Sampdoria?

The reality is we needed both. We shouldn’t have let Dybala go for nothing, he has more quality than anyone in our current squad

Yep, one us a winger and the other an attacker. Allways said its foolish to lose Dybala for free without replacing him. Would only got it if we had signed Zaniolo, or to a lesser extent Depay.

Heck we didn't even replace the dynamic quality Morata offered as left forward.

Why are we surprised? Static team, ageing and/or overpaid stars, coach who has lost the respect of his players, not to mention has transformed into a clueless senile git, and here we are. The proof is in the pudding people.

I didn't even watch the game, and I am glad didn't. I tuned in to check the score, saw a Di Maria red, and I knew it was game over. I checked again around the 80 minute mark and saw that Monza had scored - I laughed so hard, then sighed, and then put my phone to the side and continued drinking.

Don’t misinterpret my post. I said the team is worse than it was last season - I stand by that because it clearly is. Players like Sandro, Danilo, Bonucci, Cuadrado are all a year older and clearly declining as footballers - they’re worse players now than they were last season. Then we lost quality players like Dybala, De Ligt & Morata. Hell even though Berna was a meme player he was always fit and available and an option off the bench. The players we signed are no better than the ones we lost.

That doesn’t mean the team isn’t good enough to beat the trash opponents we’ve been dropping points to. Even with a weaker team we should be walking through teams like Samp, Benfica, Salernitana & Monza

We haven't even played Inter, Milan, Atalanta, Napoli, Lazio and Udinese :howler:

Yawza!

If Cucklegri is still here come November, we might be looking at being involved in a relegation scrap and definitely out of the CL by matchday 5.

The team individually is good enough to win but the players are clearly not playing well.
Allegri is the one who set tactics so he is to blame.
Monza vs 10 men Napoli and 9 out of 10 Napoli would get all 3pts.
Never mind that. In 40min we were playing 11 vs 11 we never looked like scoring. I'm confident we would have lost without the red card

I dont know honestly, the team is bad and IMO we should have won it with 10 men anyway.
The fact that it was D.M that got the red kind of killed our chances to create something as the team dont work well and individual brilliance is the only weapon we have.

I'd like to see him with a better team. Something at least Roma level and then I can form a better opinion.

ah, so players matter now. and apparently viola squad's not good enough to beat mighty empoli (~30min with 1 man down), mighty twente, mighty rfs, mighty bologna, not to mention mighty basaksehir :p

jokes aside, his team has been a disappointment so far, both results and quality wise. the win over verona might just have saved his ass.
