I meant it's most likely more common in use in forces today. And a M4 would probably be more likely to hit it's target than an AK.

Depends what you mean. On single shot, held properly, an AK is far more accurate on the first shot. The M4 has less recoil and less space between moving parts so on automatic you would get a smaller spread but, having used both, I consider the AK much more accurate for practical purposes at least.

Russia hasn't moved on much since then, they've been broke since the 90s. Only now are they starting to upgrade the military again. T-90 is built be to good in large numbers and Abrams is better overall as an individual tank.
