Putin is a war criminal and completely in the wrong here, you dont even need much research to conclude that, just look at the countless reports at the way war has been conducted by Russians the past couple of days - needless attacks on civilians, pointless murders from clear position of power.

The biggest thing the West did wrong was not moving forward with the inclusion of Georgia and Ukraine in the NATO in 2008. Russia doesnt want a buffer zone for their safety, they want a buffer zone to be able to occupy again and again and these assholes need to be stopped.
Maybe you are right. But with the current situation playing tough (a war) with Russia is a lose-lose position.

 What a fantasy. I guess it's my fault that half of Europe is depended on Russian gas or that no one is mad enough (yet) to start a nuclear war against Russia.

Or it is my fault that US and it's allies don't respect another point of view about Geopolitics. According to you it will be OK for the US if Russia, China and Iran entered an anti-US alliance. Then started to do steps to get Mexico in this alliance while inspire them to be more aggressive towards the US. And to top it all start weaponizing them and even suggesting to give them Nukes.

I guess it's my fault that Uygurs are suffering in China while Lebron James is sucking a fat Chinese cock because he doesn't want NBA to lose money. Or maybe I should start rooting for a Nuclear war with China over Taiwan - fuck diplomacy and compromises when dealing with communists. Fuck it all, right?
Nah. Yours and others endless rubbish about everything being the fault of the Western military industrial complex is exactly what allows dictators like Putin and Xi to do whatever they want. Because if shit hits the fan, dictator apologists like you still blaming America and the west. Perhaps Bulgaria will rejoin a new Putin Soviet bloc and your fantasy will come true.

And then you can spout more nonsense about dictator Trudeau oppressing the heroic truckers. Join with Tucker Carlson or Candace Owens about how ‘murica needs to invade failed democracy Canada to come liberate us from the authoritarian regime.

I'm all for strict measures against the dictators. No one is willing though. I wonder why no one is sanctioning Russian, Chinese and Saudi Arabia economies?

Exactly this. Putin’s had this endgame as a goal ever since coming to power. He’s been talking about the collapse of the Soviet Union being the biggest geopolitical disaster of the 20th century for two decades now. To think what he’s doing today was caused by America or the west is absurd. The argument could be made that the west not responding with harsh enough sanctions and measures in 2008 and 2014 allowed it to get to this point, certainly, but that’s a mistake they made, it doesn’t make them responsible for this invasion that Putin has been planning for entire time as leader of Russia.

What? Russia’s economy is being tanked right this very moment. Iran’s economy been devastated by sanctions.

I hope the west gets tough with China and others. I hope this is a wake up call to stop normalizing relations with these murderous regimes.

Excerpt from the lecture "Why is Ukraine the West's Fault? Featuring John Mearsheimer"

And everyone around me is against what Putin did. I'm not defending him. But many people in the West are living in an emotional fantasy that their more sophisticated civilization gives them some advantage over the morality of killing other people.
This is Putin’s fault and his alone.

Hard to say from Russian point of view because our ministry doesn't post shit and even if they will do it they are lying for 24/7/365

Not unreasonable to believe these are somewhat accurate. The personnel number obviously just an estimate. US has confirmed quite a few planes shot down/etc. The two Il-76 transport planes with airborne troops were confirmed shot down by the US. If they were full that’s likely ~300 dead right there.
