Dude this isn't dama but a fucking chess game.
One move isn't simply a move.
Sadly there is no hope for Ukraina because Europe,Nato and Usa had to move before the actual invasion and send men to support Ukraina.
They did not. Sure they sold weapons, helmets and what's not but what this matter against a russian army playing home grounds?
So West already gave up on Ukraina and next war ground gonna be Taiwan.
But as I wrote TSMC produce 60% of world wide of high end semiconductors which are needed for any fking tech right now.
Fuck you! I swear if I get out of this shit alive

not saying that
I'm trying to understand what moved Russia to invade Ukraine.
That does not mean that I support in anyway what they're doing
Fear.

Fear that if there was a STABILIZED, non-corrupt, westernized Ukraine sitting on his border that all Russians could look at and say "these people are just like me and now they're thriving, we should move closer to the west too" that is the greatest threat to Putin/Russian power and influence in the area.

Putin's greatest fear isn't NATO soldiers or NATO bases in Ukraine.

It's technology and thriving cities of a Democratic, stabilized, westernized European democracy. With universal healthcare and EU votes.

A beautiful country of Russian speakers who no longer fear Russia but look at Russia with sadness as a corrupt, aging, weak brother.

That is what Putin is fighting. A shrinking sphere of influence as Russian-aligned countries realize they are living in 2022 but they're countries are still in the 1980s. And it doesn't have to be that way. These countries are decades behind their counterparts all because they have aligned themselves with Russia. And they all see it. On Tiktok, on Instagram. They see the weakness and corruption of their countries. And so they push to align with the west. And this is the result.

You know what Putler's strategy was to counter that besides war? "Westernization = homosexualization"

Such a pathetic piece of shit midget.

Even then it would a false equivalence….. USA invaded Iraq, who was ruled by a military dictator who gassed his own people (still wrong, and a contemptible action). Russia is invading a country with a democratically elected government. The USA invading Mexico or Canada would be an equivalent to what is happening right now.
Exactly. I hate hearing this same dumbassery over and over. Oh, it’s okay for Russia to do this and we can’t judge because US invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, and overthrew Qaddafi in Libya. Fuck that. Ukraine has a democratically elected government, isn’t torturing and gassing and oppressing its citizens.

But then you have retards like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens saying US should invade and liberate failed democracy Canada from dictator Trudeau because we declared emergency act for 7 days to peacefully end border blockades and a month long occupation and shutdown of the downtown of our capital.

Dunces everywhere.

This is a suicide by Putin I mean even russian does not support Ukraina invasion.
What he hope to accomplish after the war ends is unknown to me.
Without chinese support and banned from Swift Russia is fucked. Russians are fucked even more than Putin and friends.
This is all so sad but the worst was witnessing how Europe and Nato gave up on Ukraina.
If we sent soldiers I very much doubt that Putin would've have the balls to strike a direct conflict

And make no mistake, for a much smaller country, Ukraine is not as poor as people may think.

As far as Putin wanting to accomplish. It's delay the westernization of his sphere of influence. That's all he can do. Stay in power a little longer. There is no grand end game scenario or plan.

This is REACTIONARY on Putin's part. And I believe him when he says he didn't want to do this. He truly didn't want it to get to this point. But if the choice is stand and do nothing as Ukraine ( a country with Russian speakers and many families with ties to your citizens) si moving closer to the west and closer to THRIVING or make them stop out of fear, he has done the second. Because this is how he maintains power and maintains control. Without control, he'd be ousted by a younger, stronger young Russian.

Look at how the botox has destroyed his facial features. This is a vain man who knows his control is slipping as he watches his country go from a superpower (USSR) to not even a top 20 Economy in the world. He's seen his country passed by and it continues to struggle and not develop. And now his WEAKER ally China is a superpower. Russia has become less and less important. So he must seize more control and more power to strengthen his powerbase domestically or he will lose EVERYTHING.

What's the deal with the false flag operations? No one is gonna belive them anyway. They need to convince themselves or what?
Just something to show on their state TV or their dumbass troops.

if before Crimea he had a chance to retire and enjoy the money he has somewhere in this world... with this idiotic move his only way to stay alive is being the boss till he dies because once he step down or he is stepped down by someonelse it will means death penalty for him
