Post-Covid. The west castrating itself with identity politics bullshit and self-destructive domestic policies. Mass nationwide civil unrest over nonsense like a criminal being shot by police, or an election being “stolen” when it obviously wasn’t. Trumpistans like Tucker Carlson and other people that have left the traditional, sane conservative orbit actively cheering on Putin which is weird as fuck.
Couldn't have put it better myself. Anyone with half a brain could see the decline but, of course, shameless western profiteers, politicians and vampires see the weakness in the west as short term financially beneficial to themselves. They never cared about something like this and still don't.

This is the world they wanted. Hope they are fuckin happy

Are they moving now because they see the west is weak? Seizing their moment in a post covid world?
They've been planning this for years, but yes the timing is perfect for them with all the weak ass leaders around the world. Plus energy prices are high and they've prepared for sanctions.

But the US wanted this right guys?????? Guys it's all the evil west and US that did this.
The fact that there are people who think US and Russia are just two sides of the same coin is just bizarre and is a big part of the west’s spineless foreign policy. The same thing with all the nonsense justifying China, because look America has done bad things before too. :sergio:

I mean, I definitely thought something big was happening, but more like a land grab of Eastern Ukraine. This is a full scale invasion of the entire country. Insane.
The scary thing is how many people, both from the US and Ukrainians, said it was never going to happen. I wonder how many people were actually prepared. Zeleksnky didn't even seem prepared.

Yep, Kharkiv is under shelling. Not the center, but suburbs. We went to basement.
I'm seeing planes and smoke on the Kharkiv stream. Traffic data is still showing a 15km backup on the E105 heading towards Kharkiv.

I wonder how far this will go, how long the war stays hot in Eastern Europe. Just Ukraine, Belarus, the Baltic states? Or are they going to attempt to create a new Soviet bloc? Either way, Cold War V2 and a new arms race is likely coming.

That quote from the Pentagon official about no more peace in Europe is pretty scary, not going to lie.
