History beckons for Georgia and Namibia
LENS, 25 September – Georgia and Namibia go into their Pool D match on Wednesday with the chance to make history for their respective nations.
Neither has won a rugby world cup match in the past and the coaches of both sides have been targeting this fixture as their best chance.
Georgia coach Malkhaz Cheishvili is confident his side can snatch victory.
"We've put together a very experienced team," he said. "We're heading directly to victory and we'll certainly play a good game."
Namibia coach Hakkies Husselman said his side had less time to prepare for the match - their last game was on Saturday - than Georgia.
"Obviously a longer rest is better at this level because the intensity is (great) and concentration has to be there otherwise if you only concentrate for 40 minutes you easily get a 50 or 60 (points) against you in the second half.
"Our goal was to win one game and we targeted this game at the beginning of the tournament," said Husselman.
The sides have only met once before, Georgia winning 26-18 earlier this year.
Namibia welcome back several players from injury, while Georgia continue their policy of player rotation.
With the major battle expected to take place in the forwards, both coaches have shuffled their packs.
Namibia prop Marius Visser has retained his place alongside returning captain Kees Lensing, while Hugo Horn starts at hooker.
For Georgia, Goderdzi Shvelidze has been moved from hooker to prop for this match
